We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, knowing that only He can bring true repentance, restoration, and justice. It is indeed grievous when brothers and sisters in Christ allow bitterness, deception, or pride to take root, causing division and harm within the body of Christ. The Scriptures warn us, *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18), yet we know that even among believers, conflicts can arise when hearts are not fully surrendered to God.
Father, we first ask that You would soften the heart of this Christian brother who has acted unjustly. Lord, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of any sin—whether it be dishonesty, covetousness, or a hardened heart—and that he would repent before You. *"The Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor His ear dull, that it can’t hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear"* (Isaiah 59:1-2). We ask that You break any pride or stubbornness in him and lead him to genuine repentance, not just for the sake of restitution, but for the sake of his own soul and his walk with You.
We also pray for justice and restoration in this matter. Lord, You are a God of justice, and You see all things. *"The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6). If it is Your will, we ask that You would either move this brother to deliver the painting as promised or return the money that was unjustly withheld. If he refuses to do what is right, we trust that You will bring about justice in Your perfect timing and way. We are reminded that *"vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19), and we release this burden into Your hands, refusing to let bitterness take root in our own hearts.
Father, we also lift up the one who has been wronged in this situation. Guard their heart against resentment, anger, or a spirit of unforgiveness. Help them to extend grace, even as You have extended grace to them. *"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:32). May they find peace in knowing that You are their Defender and Provider, and that no injustice escapes Your notice.
Lord, we declare that this situation will not be a stumbling block to either party’s faith. Instead, may it be an opportunity for growth, humility, and a deeper reliance on You. We pray that both individuals would draw closer to You through this trial, and that their witness for Christ would not be tarnished by this conflict. *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you"* (Ephesians 4:31-32).
Finally, we ask that You would heal any division this has caused within the body of Christ. Lord, unite Your people in love and truth, that the world may see Your light shining through us. *"By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another"* (John 13:35). May this situation be redeemed for Your glory, and may both parties emerge with a deeper understanding of Your grace and justice.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, the One who reconciles us to God and to one another. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
