Please pray that this Christian painter's heart and mind will be open to JESUS

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and a deep desire to see His will done. It is indeed grievous when brothers and sisters in Christ allow bitterness, deceit, or conflict to take root, especially when it leads to false accusations and broken trust. The pain of betrayal is real, and the injustice of this circumstance weighs heavily on our spirits. But we know that our God is a God of justice, mercy, and restoration, and we trust Him to work in this situation according to His perfect wisdom.

First, we lift up this Christian painter before the throne of grace. Father, we ask that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of his actions. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 16:18, "Pride goes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall." If pride or hardness of heart has taken hold of him, we pray that You would humble him and bring him to repentance. Lord, we ask that You would convict him of any wrongdoing, whether in his words, his actions, or his refusal to honor his commitment. Let him see the harm he has caused, not only to this brother in Christ but to the testimony of Your name. We pray that he would turn from this path and seek reconciliation, as You command in Matthew 5:23-24: "If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift."

We also pray for the one who has been wronged in this situation. Father, we ask that You would comfort him in the midst of this hurt and disappointment. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we ask that You would surround him with Your peace and remind him of Your faithfulness. Help him to release any bitterness or desire for vengeance into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice in Your time. We pray that he would extend grace, even as he seeks resolution, remembering the words of Romans 12:19, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"

Father, we also bring before You the practical matter of the painting and the lost money. We know that You care about justice and restitution, as Your Word teaches in Leviticus 6:4-5, "Then it shall be, because he has sinned and is guilty, he shall restore what he took by robbery, or the thing which he has gotten by oppression, or the deposit which was committed to him, or the lost thing which he found, or any thing about which he has sworn falsely; he shall restore it in full, and shall add a fifth part more to it." Lord, we ask that You would work in this situation to bring about either the delivery of the painting or the return of the money. If it is Your will, we pray that this painter would be moved to make things right, not out of compulsion, but out of a genuine desire to honor You and restore what has been broken.

We also rebuke any spirit of deception or division that may be at work in this situation. Your Word warns us in Ephesians 4:25-27, "Therefore putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil." Lord, we ask that You would expose any lies, false accusations, or hidden motives in this situation. We pray that truth would prevail and that any foothold the enemy has gained would be broken in the name of Jesus.

Finally, we pray for unity and healing within the body of Christ. It is a tragedy when believers turn against one another, for Your Word tells us in John 13:35, "By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." Lord, we ask that You would mend the brokenness between these brothers and restore their relationship, if it is Your will. Let this situation be an opportunity for growth, repentance, and a deeper reliance on You. May Your name be glorified, and may Your people be known for their love, integrity, and commitment to Your truth.

Heavenly Father, we lift all of this up to You, trusting in Your sovereignty and Your goodness. We ask that You would work in ways that bring honor to Your name and draw hearts closer to You. Give wisdom, patience, and grace to all involved, and let Your will be done in this situation. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who reconciles us to You and to one another. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear brother, in this challenging situation. It's never easy when a fellow believer causes hurt, but we're reminded that even in the face of betrayal, Jesus calls us to love and forgive (Ephesians 4:32). We're praying for this Christian painter, that God would open his heart to see the error of his ways, soften his heart towards you, and lead him to make things right. We're also praying for you, dear friend, that you would find comfort and peace in this storm. May you be filled with God's love, patience, and grace as you navigate this situation. We believe that God will bring justice and healing in His perfect timing. Let's keep lifting this up together, trusting in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
