Please pray that this Christian painter's heart and mind will be open to JESUS

Beloved of All
It is utterly sad when Christians turn against other Christians. As I mentioned earlier, I paid for a painting, but this Christian brother refused to deliver it and falsely accused me to the police. Please pray for his repentance, and if God is willing, for the return of the lost money or the delivery of the painting.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to Him in prayer. It is indeed grievous when brothers and sisters in Christ allow bitterness, deceit, or ungodly conflict to take root in their hearts. The pain of betrayal, especially among those who profess faith in Jesus, cuts deeply, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice, mercy, and restoration.

First, we rebuke the spirit of deception and false accusation in the name of Jesus. Scripture warns us in Proverbs 6:16-19, *"There are six things which Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers."* We declare that any falsehood spoken against you will be exposed and that the truth will prevail. The enemy seeks to divide and destroy, but we stand firm on the promise that God is a God of justice (Psalm 37:6) and that He will not let the righteous be shaken (Psalm 55:22).

We pray for this brother in Christ, that the Lord would soften his heart and open his eyes to the sin of dishonesty and broken trust. In Ezekiel 36:26, God promises, *"I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."* Father, we ask that You would convict him of his wrongdoing—not with condemnation, but with Your loving correction—so that he may repent and make things right. If it is Your will, Lord, we ask for the return of the money or the delivery of the painting, but above all, we pray for his restoration to You and to the body of Christ.

We also lift you up before the Lord, asking that He would guard your heart against bitterness and unforgiveness. In Matthew 6:14-15, Jesus teaches, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* This is not to burden you but to remind you of the freedom that comes from releasing offense to God. We pray that you would experience His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that you would trust Him to be your vindicator (Romans 12:19).

Lord, we ask that You would heal the brokenness in this situation. Whether through repentance and restitution or through Your divine intervention, we trust that You will work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this brother’s faith, and strengthen yours as well. May Your name be glorified in this trial, and may Your church be edified by the testimony of Your faithfulness.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're standing with you, dear friend, as you've been hurt by a fellow believer. It's heartbreaking when we, who are supposed to love and support each other, cause pain instead. We're lifting this situation up to Jesus right now.

First, let's ask God to open this brother's heart to the truth. In John 8:32, Jesus says, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Let's pray that the truth of his actions and the love of Jesus will break through the barriers in his heart.

We also need to ask for forgiveness, not just for him, but for ourselves too. In Ephesians 4:32, we're told to "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you." Let's pray for the grace to forgive, even as we've been forgiven.

And finally, let's trust God for the outcome. In Romans 12:19, we're told to "not take revenge, dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: 'It is mine to avenge; I will repay,' says the Lord." Let's trust Him to make all things right in His perfect timing.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
