Let us bring this concern before the Lord, interceding for this individual who needs to take better care of themselves. We know that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with our bodies. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus is not mentioned in this prayer request. It is only in the name of Jesus that we are able to go before the throne of God to obtain mercy and grace in time of need. It is important to keep in mind that we cannot have any interaction with God without Jesus as our intercessor. If we do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are separated from God by our sin and if this is the case for you as the person who submitted this request, please remember this. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this person who needs to take better care of themselves. We pray that You will convict their heart and help them understand that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
