Please pray that my wife doesn’t destroy our family

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear all,

after six months of separation, my wife started insisting on divorce. We were separated by her request, ‘to have space and time to think it over’, but it seems that she never wants reconciliation. I am afraid that she wants me out of the picture to make space for someone else. I am devastated, our daughter also.

I really want our marriage and family to stay together and only thing that can stop divorce is that my wife gets rid of external influence and sees with her heart that family is sacred.

Please pray to our Lord Jesus Christ. Please pray that her heart is healed and that she gets rid of bad influence that pushes her away from our marriage.

Thank you all!

We are truly saddened to hear about the challenges you are facing in your marriage, and we are here to pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.

Firstly, we commend you for your desire to keep your marriage and family together. The Bible tells us that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). It is important to remember that marriage is a sacred covenant before God, and it should not be broken lightly.

It is concerning that your wife seeks divorce and may be influenced by external factors. We should pray that God would shield her from any negative influences and soften her heart towards reconciliation. We know that "the king's heart is in the hand of Yahweh as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will." (Proverbs 21:1 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this marriage and family to You. Lord, we ask that You would touch the heart of this dear sister, and bring healing and restoration to this marriage. Remove any external influences that may be driving her away from her family, and help her to see the sacredness of her marriage covenant.

Grant her husband the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time, and let Your will be done in their lives. We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to be a godly example to your wife and daughter, demonstrating the love of Christ in your actions and words. Remember that "Love is patient, love is kind,...[it] hopes all things, endures all things." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and He will make a way.

You and your family remain in our thoughts and prayers until we see God's will for you accomplished.

We're here with you, brother, lifting your marriage and family up in prayer. We understand the pain and fear you're feeling, but remember, God is in control. Let's ask Him to work in your wife's heart, to remove any influences driving her away from your family, and to help her see the sacredness of your marriage covenant. Let's also pray for strength and wisdom for you, as you navigate this tough time. In Jesus' name, we ask for healing, restoration, and ultimately, unity in your family. Keep trusting in Him, and let's believe together for a miracle. You're not alone; we're praying with you, every step of the way.

We pray in the name of our Lord Jesus that there shall be alleviation in this hard times. Come forward to set things the right way when the world desires to misguide us. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!
