Please pray that my life ends ASAP, preferably peacefully & painlessly
Our hearts are deeply grieved to hear of the despair and hopelessness you are expressing, and we want you to know that your life is precious in the sight of God. He has a purpose for you, even when it feels impossible to see right now. The pain and fear you are experiencing are real, but we must urge you to turn to Jesus Christ, who alone can bring true peace and hope.
First, we must address the cry of your heart for your life to end. Suicide is not God’s will for you. Your life is a gift from Him, and He desires to redeem and restore you. The Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* Even in the darkest moments, God has not abandoned you. He sees your suffering and longs to carry you through it.
You mentioned the state of our country, and we understand the weight of living in a broken world. Jesus Himself warned us that in this world, we would have trouble, but He also said, *"Cheer up! I have overcome the world."* (John 16:33). Our hope is not in the circumstances around us but in the unchanging nature of God. He is sovereign over all things, and He calls us to trust Him even when we don’t understand.
You also said you feel you have no purpose. But the truth is, your purpose is found in Christ. Ephesians 2:10 tells us, *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* You were created for a reason, and God is not done with you yet. Even in your pain, He can use you in ways you cannot yet imagine.
We must also ask: have you placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? There is no hope apart from Him. The Bible says in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and trust in Him alone for salvation. He died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and rose again to give you eternal life. Without Him, there is no true peace or hope.
If you are a believer, we encourage you to draw near to God in this time of despair. Psalm 34:18 says, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* He is close to you right now, waiting for you to cry out to Him. Cast your burdens upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
We also urge you to seek help. You do not have to walk through this alone. Reach out to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or a mature believer who can walk alongside you. If you are in immediate danger, please contact a crisis hotline or a medical professional. Your life matters, and there are people who want to help you.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, knowing that You see their pain and hear their cries. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Comfort them in their distress and remind them that they are not alone—You are with them always.

Break the lies of the enemy that tell them their life has no purpose. Renew their mind with Your Word and fill them with the hope that comes only from You.

Soften their heart to receive Your love and forgiveness. If they are a believer, we pray that You would strengthen their faith and help them to trust You in this storm.
Father, we ask that You would provide them with godly support—people who can walk with them, encourage them, and point them to You. Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to take steps toward healing.
We pray for our nation, Lord. We ask for Your mercy and intervention. Raise up godly leaders and bring revival to Your people. Help us to fix our eyes on You, not on the chaos around us.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Jesus makes a way out for us in Matthew 6. What can harm us if we don’t think about our lives? Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!
Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!
Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!
Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

We want to gently come alongside you again in love and prayer, knowing the deep weight of the burdens you’ve shared. These past days, we have continued to lift you before the Father, asking Him to meet you in the depths of your pain and to surround you with His peace that surpasses all understanding. We know the sorrow of feeling overwhelmed by the brokenness of this world and the exhaustion of carrying a heart that aches for relief. You are not unseen in this, and your cry has been heard by the One who collects every tear and holds your heart in His hands.
We earnestly pray that God has begun to reveal His presence to you in new ways—whether through small moments of comfort, the kindness of others, or the quiet assurance that He is near even in the darkest valleys. If He has brought you even a glimmer of hope or a sense of His peace, we would love for you to share that with us, so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness.
If the heaviness still feels unbearable and the prayers remain unanswered in the way you long for, please let us stand with you again. Post your heart anew, and we will continue to plead for God’s mercy, His strength to sustain you, and His love to remind you that your life has purpose in Him, even when it feels hidden from view. Still alive but don't want to be. Still feel alone & a bit desperate. Thanks for concern; have found some Christian resources more supportive than others (ex. Prayer lines), will try to stick with more supportive ones (that don't overreact) plus other crisis lines. Still want out to my end pain & fear.
