Please pray that my cousin, Robin will open up her heart and forgive me for what she thinks I have done wrong. Our girls go to school together and several months ago, I told Robin of a situation involving her daughter and mine. It was mostly that her daughter wasn't being nice to mine and it was over a boy of all things. The girls at this age have their opinions and ideas and they can be mean to each other. If I would have known that she would turn on me I would have never said anything. I just wanted to make her aware of some behavior and wanted it corrected. Because my daughter really likes her daughter. And because we are cousins I wanted our girls to get along because they are in the same grade and in the same school. Well, it turns out I was wrong to say anything at all. I should have remained quiet. I thought everything would be okay after several months have passed. My daughter has invited her cousin over and she never returns her calls anymore. She used to return her calls before the incident. Also, my daughter invited her to her birthday party and she told her she couldn't come because she had to look after her dog. They don't have a dog. I know they don't because my cousin doesn't want any pets because she doesn't like the responsibility. Also a few other girls didn't come to my daughter's party. They are friends with this cousin too. Last year everyone she invited came except for one. What bothers me is that her daughter lied to my daughter and my daughter believed the lie. Please pray that my cousin's heart will soften toward me and realize that I wasn't in any way saying that her daughter was bad, I just wanted the situation corrected so that they could go back being friends. Please pray that her daughter will want to hang out with mine again like they used to. Lord, I have learned my lesson to just stay quiet because some people don't like to be told if their children are behaving in a way that is hurting to others. I wish we could start over with a clean slate. Please pray for this in Jesus's name. Amen.
