Hi all. I used poor judgement and now my job may be in jeopardy. I wasn't trying to scam or get over on anyone, i just wanted to save a few extra dollars. to make a long story short, a friend of mine was selling passes for monthly parking at a discounted rate. I purchased one of these passes from him monthly for almost three years. well yesterday, my pass was confiscated advising that it was counterfeit. i never knew that the item was counterfeit, i assumed that he was receiving them in bulk and thus passing on the savings. well i didn't trust to do it again, so i just went directly to the main office to purchase one for full price. well when i got there, i was interrogated. i explained the situation (i felt like a victim because although i was purchasing them at a discounted rate, i still assumed they were valid). They asked me to give them a name, which i did, but they still were threatening to call the main office to my job. at this point, i don't know what's going to happen. I went directly to my boss and explained the situation to her. She understood, but i don't know if the situation will be escalated to the higher office. Please pray for me. I am not a dishonest person, i just fell victim to someone's scam because i wanted to save a little money. Please pray that the Lord sees my heart and enables me to rise above the Devil. I need my job.
