Please pray that I get help with my sleep routine.

We hear your cry for help with your sleep routine, and we come before the Lord together, lifting this concern to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Sleep is a gift from God, yet so many struggle to find rest in this busy and anxious world. The Bible tells us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." The Lord desires for you to rest in His peace, trusting Him to sustain you through the night.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, restlessness, or insomnia that may be disrupting your sleep. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your mind and body will submit to the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray against any unconfessed sin, worry, or worldly distractions that may be keeping you awake, for the word of God says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). Let the Lord search your heart and lead you into His rest.

Father God, we ask You to grant this dear one a renewed sleep routine that honors You. Help them to lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily entangles, running with perseverance the race set before them (Hebrews 12:1). Teach them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for discipline in their daily habits—encouraging them to turn away from screens, caffeine, or late-night activities that hinder rest. Instead, let them find solace in Your word, meditating on Your promises as they prepare for sleep. May they find comfort in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any underlying physical, emotional, or spiritual issues that may be contributing to their struggle. If there is fear, trauma, or unhealed wounds, we pray for Your healing touch to bring restoration. If there is a need for medical or professional help, guide them to the right resources. Above all, draw them closer to You, for You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4). May they find their ultimate rest in You, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We declare that this season of sleeplessness will come to an end, and that You will renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Let them wake up refreshed, ready to serve You with joy and vigor. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
