We hear your cry for protection and safety, and we join with you in lifting this need before the throne of grace. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We take comfort in knowing that He is our shield and fortress, and under His wings, we find shelter from the storms of life.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would surround this dear one with Your heavenly hosts, that no harm or evil would come near them. Protect them from all forms of danger, seen and unseen. Guard their heart, mind, and body, and keep them safe from the snares of the enemy. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will deliver them from every evil work (2 Timothy 4:18).
We also pray for Your peace to flood their soul, that they may rest in the assurance of Your love and care. Remind them that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.
If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, Lord, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and lean not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take hold, and we command it to flee in Jesus' name.
We also want to gently remind you that true safety and protection are found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. The Bible tells us that "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we can have eternal life and the assurance of God's protection.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). We trust in Your unfailing love and ask that You would continue to watch over this dear one, guiding their steps and keeping them safe in Your care. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
