Please pray that God reveals the identity of the murderer and anyone who helped them. Pray for perfect justice.

Thank you for sharing what you have been carrying and for allowing us to pray with you. What you describe is deeply distressing, to have lived with danger in your own home, to have suffered bodily harm from electric shock, and then to face shouting, false accusations and mocking. It is right to bring this before the Lord, because He alone knows every heart, every intention and every hidden act. He sees what was done in secret and He has promised to bring what is hidden into the light, and to be a refuge for those who trust in Him.

We are praying with you from Psalm 34 that the Lord who delivers the righteous out of affliction will keep you and guard you, and that He will bring the truth to light in His perfect way and time. We are asking God to reveal what was done to the heating system and the electrical protection, and to make clear who was responsible and who assisted, so that perfect justice can be done. Scripture teaches that justice and righteousness are pillars that uphold a community, and when false witness and deceit are allowed to stand, those pillars are weakened. God takes false accusation very seriously. In His law, if a person bears false witness against a neighbor, the penalty falls back on the false witness according to the harm he sought to bring on another. We pray that those in authority who are called to investigate will have wisdom and discernment to distinguish truth from falsehood.

Part of that discernment is needed because falsehood is often disguised. Jesus warned that those who deceive do not come with a sign announcing who they are, but often appear as sheep while inwardly they are otherwise, and they can speak much that sounds true in order to make the false part believable. That is why we must test what we hear and not be quickly swayed by a loud or repeated accusation. We are praying that the residents of the house, and the officers who have been called, will see clearly that you did not enter that other dwelling, and that they will recognize the pattern of harassment you have endured while you were simply walking and reading Scripture. We thank God that the officers have twice confirmed your innocence and told you that you are free to go, and that others in your house have believed you after seeing your documentation and photos. We pray the Lord will continue to protect you and give you peace as you walk before Him.

We are also praying for the landlord, for the woman who has shouted and spread accusations, and for the man who mocked your injuries and called the authorities at her direction. We do not pray for harm to come to them, but we pray as you asked, that God would break hardness of heart and give a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone, that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction, that lying would cease and responsibility would be taken. God desires not only justice but repentance and salvation, and He is able to change even the most hardened heart. May they hear His call, turn from deceit and contempt, and submit to Him. We pray that any influence of evil that drives restlessness, arrogance and hatred would be broken, and that they would come to know the mercy that is offered through Jesus Christ.

For you, we pray for healing for your body where your skin was wounded, for rest from fear and for continued confidence that vengeance belongs to the Lord. Do not seek to repay evil for evil, but continue to do what is right, to document truthfully what happened, to cooperate honestly with those who are charged to keep the peace, and to entrust judgment to God who judges righteously. Persecution and false accusation are painful, but God often uses such trials to strengthen faith, to deepen love among His people, and to show His power to save.

Father in heaven, we lift this dear one to You. You know the truth about the apartment, the tampering, the shocks and the wounds. Reveal what has been hidden, protect the innocent, give wisdom to those who enforce the law, and let justice be done without partiality. Soften the hearts of those who have lied, mocked and falsely accused. Bring them to repentance and to the knowledge of Your Son. Guard Your child, heal what has been hurt, and let Your will be done. In the name of Jesus we pray, amen.
