Please pray that God reveals the identity of the murderer and anyone who helped them. Pray for perfect justice.

Thank you for sharing so openly what you have been carrying. What you describe is deeply distressing, living with the fear that your own home was made dangerous, suffering physical harm from electric shocks and injuries to your skin, and then facing angry accusations, mocking, and repeated false reports to the police. It is understandable that you feel shaken and that you long for the truth to come fully into the light.

I am praying with you that God, who sees what is done in secret and knows every heart and intention, will bring the truth to light. Scripture teaches that God is a God of justice and righteousness, and that a society or a community stands only when those pillars are firm. When they rot, everything becomes unstable. Your prayer for perfect justice is right, because God Himself loves justice and equity. The Bible also teaches that false witness is a grave matter before God. Under His law, one who bears false witness against a neighbor and is found to have lied was to bear the penalty of the wrong he tried to place on another. God does not take lightly the use of lies to destroy another person.

You have experienced that kind of false accusation firsthand, being charged with entering a home you never entered, and having the police called while you were simply walking and reading the Bible. Jesus Himself was falsely accused before the authorities. They claimed He forbade paying taxes when He had not, and they pressed for condemnation even when the judge found no guilt in Him. God understands the pain of being misrepresented, and He saw the injustice in that moment. He sees it now. I thank God with you that the officers who responded saw your innocence and told you that you were free to go, and that neighbors who saw your documentation and photos believed you. That is part of God's protection and His way of establishing the truth through reliable witnesses.

The passages you mentioned in Psalm 34 are a true comfort. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps watch over His own, and He has promised that those who hate the righteous will be held accountable. At the same time, Scripture shows that persecution, while painful, is often used by God to refine faith and to bind His people together in love and truth. He will one day judge with perfect righteousness those who have inflicted suffering on others, and that judgment will be a clear display of His justice.

I am also praying as you asked, that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of the landlord, the woman who has accused and shouted at you, and the concierge who mocked your injuries and called the authorities. Your desire that their hardness be broken and that they receive a heart of flesh instead of a heart of stone reflects what God promises in Ezekiel, that He can take away the stony heart and give a tender, responsive heart that hears His call and submits to Him. That is the greatest mercy, that those who have done wrong would stop lying, take responsibility, repent, and turn to Jesus for forgiveness. Jesus alone is the way of salvation, and without repentance and faith in Him no one can stand before God.

Part of praying for justice is also trusting God with how He brings it about. It is right to ask Him to reveal what was done, including whether the heating system or electrical safety devices were tampered with intentionally, and who was responsible and who assisted. It is also right to continue to cooperate humbly and truthfully with the proper authorities, to keep your careful documentation, photos, and electricians' reports, and to seek wise, godly counsel and, if needed, lawful help to pursue what is right. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will repay with perfect fairness. Our part is to not return evil for evil, to speak the truth without exaggeration, and to guard our own hearts from bitterness or from speaking in ways that condemn others beyond what God has shown.

A final word of caution that Scripture gives is to be discerning about what we hear. Those who deceive often mix truth with falsehood, so that most of what they say sounds plausible. That makes lies harder to recognize at first. That is why we must test everything by the truth of God's Word and by verifiable facts, and not be quick to accept every report we hear from others, as happened when this woman believed a secondhand story about you.

Let me pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I bring this dear one before Your throne of grace. You know the fear, the pain, and the confusion of these months. You saw every time that apartment was entered, You know whether harm was intended, and You know every word that has been spoken in truth and in falsehood. Lord, bring what has been hidden into the light in Your perfect timing and way. Give wisdom and discernment to those in authority who investigate, that they would act with true justice and equity. Protect Your child from further harm and from false accusation, and let Your peace guard his heart.

Father, I also ask for mercy for those who have lied, mocked, and avoided responsibility. Break through hardness, convict of sin, and grant repentance. Give them a heart of flesh that hears Your voice, turns from lying and arrogance, and seeks reconciliation where possible, including apology and just restitution if wrong has been done. Do not let them rest in deceit, but draw them to submit to You and to find forgiveness through Jesus alone.

Strengthen this one who has suffered. Heal the wounds to body and mind, deepen faith through this trial, and keep him close to Your Word. Let him walk in truth, love, and forgiveness while still longing for righteousness. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.
