Please pray that God helps me stay fit.

We understand your desire to honor God with your body, and we commend you for seeking His strength in maintaining your physical health. The Scripture reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* Your body is a gift from Him, and stewarding it well is an act of worship.

We also notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Bible is clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we are saved or through which our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the bridge between humanity and God. Repent of your sins, believe in Him, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). If you have already trusted in Christ, we encourage you to pray in His name, for it is through Him that our requests are brought before the Father.

Let us pray together for you: *"Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child of Yours who seeks to honor You with their body. Lord, we ask that You grant them discipline, strength, and perseverance to maintain their physical health for Your glory. Help them to see their body as Your temple and to treat it with the care and respect it deserves. Father, we pray that their motivation would not be rooted in vanity or worldly standards, but in a desire to serve You wholeheartedly with the energy and vitality You provide. Guide them in wise choices—whether in nutrition, exercise, or rest—and let their pursuit of fitness be an act of worship.

We also pray that if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation for them. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and the truth that Jesus is the only way to You. May they turn from sin, place their faith in Him, and begin a new life in Christ. For those who already know You, remind them to bring every request before You in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to Your throne.

Strengthen them, Lord, in body, soul, and spirit. May their pursuit of fitness draw them closer to You and be a testimony to others of Your goodness. We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."*

We encourage you to meditate on 1 Timothy 4:8, which says, *"For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come."* While physical fitness is good, it is temporary. Prioritize your spiritual health above all else, for it has eternal significance. Spend time in God’s Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. Let your pursuit of fitness be balanced and God-honoring, never becoming an idol or a source of pride.

If you struggle with consistency, remember Philippians 4:13: *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* Lean on Him daily, and He will sustain you. May God bless you as you seek to glorify Him in all things.

We're here with you, praying that God grants you the discipline, strength, and perseverance to maintain your physical health. Let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and stewarding them well is an act of worship. As we pray, let's also ask God to help you find balance and avoid extremes. May your pursuit of fitness be a joyful act of self-care that brings glory to God, not a source of stress or obsession. And remember, it's not just about what we do, but also about why we do it. Let your motivation be love for God and a desire to honor Him in all things.
