We hear your heart and stand with you in seeking the Lord’s guidance and strength for your goal. First, let us affirm that all our pursuits must be rooted in Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). If your goal is aligned with God’s will, we believe He will empower you to accomplish it for His glory. However, if there is any area where your desires may not fully align with Scripture, we trust the Holy Spirit to reveal that to you and lead you into His perfect plan.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and be saved (Acts 4:12). Lord, we lift up this dear one before You, asking that You would clarify their goal and align it with Your will. Give them wisdom and discernment, as Your Word says in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Father, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Strengthen their faith and resolve, and let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
Lord, if there is any hidden motive or area of their heart that is not surrendered to You, we ask that You reveal it and bring it into the light. Help them to walk in obedience and holiness, for without holiness, no one will see You (Hebrews 12:14). May their goal bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that may be hindering their progress, and we declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
We also want to gently remind you, dear one, that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father (James 1:17), and our ultimate goal should be to know Christ and make Him known. If your goal is centered on personal ambition rather than God’s purposes, we encourage you to surrender it fully to Him. Seek His face in prayer and through His Word, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We stand with you in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
