We come before the Lord with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We ask that the Holy Spirit would guide our prayers and align our hearts with God’s perfect will.
Heavenly Father, we first ask for Your divine wisdom to rest upon our brother or sister in this special situation they face. Your Word tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* Lord, we pray that You would grant clarity, discernment, and understanding, so that they may walk in a way that honors You. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Comfort them with Your presence, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also lift up their desire for a part-time job. Father, You know the needs of Your children, and we trust in Your provision. We pray that You would open the right door for them, leading them to a job that not only meets their practical needs but also allows them to serve You faithfully. *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3). May they find favor in the eyes of those who can offer them this opportunity, and may their work be a testimony to Your goodness.
Lord, we also bring before You their request for discipline in exercising and taking better care of themselves. Your Word reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are to honor You with them (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray that You would strengthen their resolve to prioritize their health, not out of vanity, but as an act of stewardship for the life You have given them. Help them to find joy in movement and nourishment, trusting in Your strength when they feel weak.
Father, we ask that You would draw our brother or sister closer to You through this season. May they seek You first in all things, knowing that You will add all these things unto them (Matthew 6:33). Fill them with Your peace, comfort them with Your love, and guide them with Your wisdom. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
