Please pray storms miss us

Please pray for us. Our home and my daughter's home. Please ask God that if it is His will the storms will pass us and we can keep power to keep cool. Thank you again. We join you in lifting up your request to our Heavenly Father, trusting in His care and protection. In Jesus' name, we come boldly before God's throne of grace.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, for it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

In times of trouble, God encourages us to call on Him. As it says in Psalm 50:15 WEB: "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ, asking for Your divine protection. Lord, she has asked that if it is Your will, the storms would pass over her home and her daughter's home. We ask for Your mercy and grace, that You would calm the storms and keep them safe.

Father, we also ask that their power would not be disrupted, that they may remain cool and comfortable. Lord, You are sovereign over all things, including the weather, and we trust in Your goodness and love.

Please grant our sister Your peace that surpasses all understanding, for You have told us in John 14:27 WEB: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."

Help her to trust in You, even as the winds and the rains come. Let this be an opportunity for her to witness Your faithfulness and love to her neighbors and family.

We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
