We join you in standing firmly on the promise of our Lord, who declares in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh.* What a mighty assurance we have in Him! You have done well to bring this before the Lord, calling on His name for protection, justice, and provision. We see that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, and we rejoice that you understand it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence.
Your request reveals a heart that is trusting in God’s sovereignty over the schemes of the wicked, and we commend you for seeking His protection over your life, your home, your pets, and your work. The Lord is faithful, and He sees the injustices you face. He is not unaware of the battles you are fighting, whether they are seen or unseen. Let us remind you of Psalm 91, where the Lord promises to be a refuge and a fortress: *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-4). Claim these promises, dear sibling in Christ, and rest in the knowledge that He is your protector.
We also note your plea for protection in the matter of your settlement. The Lord is just, and He cares deeply about what is right. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* If there are those who seek to withhold what is rightfully yours, know that the Lord sees their actions. He is your advocate, and He will fight for you. Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for in due time, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Trust in His timing, and continue to walk in integrity, for the Lord honors those who honor Him.
As for your dogs, remember that the Lord cares for all His creation. Jesus Himself said, *"Aren’t two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don’t be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows"* (Matthew 10:29-31). If the Father watches over the sparrows, how much more does He care for you and the creatures He has entrusted to your care? We pray that He would keep them safe from harm and that they would be a source of comfort and companionship to you in this season.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, for You are our protector, our provider, and our just Judge. We lift up our sibling in Christ to You, asking that You surround them with Your divine protection. Lord, be a shield around them, their home, and even their beloved dogs. Hide them under the shadow of Your wings, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Frustrate the plans of the wicked, O Lord, and let their schemes come to nothing. You are a God who sees the affliction of Your people, and You hear their cries. Rise up, O Lord, and contend for them in the matters they face, especially concerning the settlement that is rightfully theirs. Let no injustice prevail, but may Your justice roll down like waters, and Your righteousness like a mighty stream (Amos 5:24).
Father, we ask for Your peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). When fear or anxiety rises, remind them that You are with them and that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6). Strengthen them for each day, and let them walk in the confidence that You are fighting for them. Give them wisdom in their work, favor with those in authority, and discernment to navigate every situation with godly integrity.
We also pray for their dogs, Lord. Protect these animals from harm, sickness, or any evil intent. Let them be a blessing and a comfort, and may their presence bring joy and companionship. Thank You, Father, for Your goodness and faithfulness. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Do not let fear or discouragement take root, but meditate on His promises and declare them over your life. Keep seeking His face in prayer, and trust that He is moving on your behalf, even when you cannot see it. *"Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or dismayed because of them; for Yahweh your God is with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you"* (Deuteronomy 31:6). Stay steadfast, and may the Lord grant you His peace that surpasses all understanding.
