Please pray over me

Thank you for sharing so honestly what you are carrying. The heaviness, the tears, and the sense of being told no and being watched or used by others for their own purposes is painful, and it is right to bring it to the Lord. Jesus sees you and He hears your prayer in His name.

The confusion and accusation you describe this morning comes from the father of lies. Scripture shows us that the one who fell from heaven fell because he sought his own glory, and he still works by deception and accusation. God knows this is part of the brokenness in our nature, and that is why He placed salvation and hope completely outside our own ability. You do not have to fight for your worth or force yourself to accept things you cannot understand. Your life is not dependent on your own strength to figure everything out.

You are His workmanship. The word for workmanship carries the idea of a poem, a thing of grace and beauty. God is taking your life as clay in His hands and He has a vessel in mind that He intends to form. Even when you feel shapeless or mixed with tears, He is carefully at work to make something beautiful and gracious out of your life.

Apart from Christ, Scripture describes us as without hope and without God in the world, separated by a real wall between us and God. That is a tragic place to live. But through the mercy of God we are given new birth into a living hope because Jesus rose from the dead. Without the resurrection there would be no hope, but because He lives, our hope is alive and sure. It rests on the promise of God who cannot lie, the promise of eternal life and a future with Him.

That hope is meant to sustain you now. The God of hope can fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him, so that you may abound in hope. He is also the God of peace and patience and comfort. As you wait on Him, He gives courage and patience, keeping your heart and mind steady in Christ until He fulfills what He has promised. The peace Christ gives passes understanding and guards you when lies press in.

We pray for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear daughter to You. We ask that You expose and silence every lie and accusation of the enemy, and that You cover her with Your truth. Give her strength to know what to do and grace not to be forced to accept confusion. Let her hear Your yes over her life where she has so often heard no. Restore to her a deep and full sense of her lifeline in Christ, and surround her with Your protection. Where others have presumed upon her or tried to attach themselves to her and her family in unhealthy ways, we ask You to set clear and loving boundaries and to disconnect what is not of You. Remind her that no person can block her from receiving from You, for Your grace is freely given and not earned. Form her life as the vessel You desire, and fill her today with joy, peace, and a living hope that cannot be taken away. Amen.
