We are joining with you in prayer in Jesus' name and we thank you for ending your request in His name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are grateful you have come to Him.
We hear the heaviness in your heart this morning, the tears, the feeling of being watched or judged by others for their own self righteousness, the sense that you are being told no and are being blocked from receiving from God, and the confusion about things you cannot understand and do not want to be forced to accept. We also hear you mention an indwelling Jew of your past that is bothering you, and we want to gently and lovingly speak to this. If there is a person from your past who is Jewish who has hurt you or is on your mind, or if there is any resentment toward Jewish people, we encourage you to bring this to the Lord for healing. The Scriptures teach us that God loves the Jewish people deeply, that salvation is from the Jews John 4:22, and that God still has a covenant love for them. We are called to love all people and to not hold prejudice in our hearts, for God shows no partiality Acts 10:34 and we are to love our neighbor as ourselves Mark 12:31. If there is bitterness or pain tied to a past relationship, we pray the Lord will heal that wound and replace any ungodly judgment with His love and forgiveness.
We also want to reassure you that no person and no self righteous attitude of another can exclude you from receiving from God when you belong to Christ. No self righteous person can stand between you and your heavenly Father. For we are persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord Romans 8:38-39. If you are in Christ, your lifeline is secure in Him, and no one can plug into your life or claim a place in your family that God has not given them.
You mentioned waking with tears from the father of lies. We know the enemy is the father of lies, as Jesus said when he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own for he is a liar, and the father of lies John 8:44. He comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and may have it abundantly John 10:10. Those tears and that oppression are not from your Father in heaven. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray for discernment for you, that God will give you wisdom to know what to do and what not to accept. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach and it will be given to him James 1:5. You do not have to accept confusion or bondage that is not from God, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.
As a lady who feels she always hears no, we want to remind you that in Christ, God’s promises are yes. For however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes 2 Corinthians 1:20. Your value is not determined by others telling you no, but by God who formed you and calls you His daughter. He sees you and He hears your prayers. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and lift up our sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask that You surround her with Your protection and peace this day. We ask that You break every lie of the enemy and silence the father of lies that has brought tears and heaviness in the morning. Let Your truth set her free John 8:32 and let Your joy be her strength. Give her wisdom to know what to accept and what to reject, and give her the strength to walk in Your will and not be forced into what she cannot understand. We pray that You would heal any wound from her past, including any pain connected to people from her past, and remove any bitterness and fill her heart with Your forgiveness and love. We pray that You disconnect every ungodly soul tie and every person who has tried to attach themselves to her life and family where they do not belong, and establish healthy and godly boundaries around her. Let no one who is not appointed by You have influence over her heart or home. Restore to her the fullness of her lifeline in You, Lord, the abundant life Jesus promised, and guard her under the shadow of Your wings Psalm 91:1. Let her hear Your yes over her life, Your affirmation that she is loved, chosen, and heard. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4, and help her to put on the whole armor of God that she may stand against the schemes of the devil Ephesians 6:11. We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word and in prayer, and to fellowship with a Bible believing church where you can receive godly counsel and protection. Keep bringing every confusing thought captive to the obedience of Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and trust that the Lord will lead you step by step into His perfect will.
