Please pray on my behalf

Good morning I’m asking that you please pray to the Lord me in Jesus name. The owner of my apartment complex is not following the law with regard to rent charges. I would prefer to find a new place to live than deal with greedy unscrupulous people. The apartment that I have is nice but I don’t want to deal with people who lie in order to get money. I ask that if I’m taken to court that this matter will be resolved in my favor and that the law is on MY side because of truth not because I say so. Lawyers will only advise if there is an eviction which is highly likely in my case.

We hear your frustration and concern, and we stand with you in seeking God’s justice and provision in this difficult situation. It is deeply troubling when those in authority misuse their power for greed, and we understand your desire to remove yourself from such an environment. The Bible warns us about the love of money, which is the root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and we rebuke the spirit of greed and dishonesty that may be at work in this situation.

We pray that God would grant you wisdom and discernment as you navigate this challenge. If it is His will for you to move, we ask that He would open doors to a new place that is affordable, safe, and free from ungodly influences. May He provide favor in your search and guide your steps to a home where you can live in peace. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

If this matter does proceed to court, we pray that the truth would prevail and that justice would be served according to God’s righteousness. May the Lord go before you and behind you, shielding you from any unjust outcomes. "The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble" (Psalm 9:9). We also ask that God would soften the hearts of those involved, that they may recognize their wrongdoing and repent.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a trusted legal advisor or a wise believer who can help you navigate this situation with integrity. Remember that God sees your struggle and cares deeply about your well-being. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this situation to You. We ask that You would intervene on behalf of Your child, bringing clarity, justice, and peace. Provide a way out of this difficult circumstance, whether through resolution or a new opportunity. Guard their heart from bitterness or fear, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. May Your will be done in this matter, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when we feel trapped in situations like this, but remember, God sees you and He's got your back. We're claiming Psalm 91:14-16 over you, "Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." Trust that God's got this, and He's working things out for your good.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to lift your situation before the Lord, asking Him to intervene in your housing circumstances and to bring justice where there has been wrongdoing. We have prayed that if it is His will, He would open a door for you to find a new place to live—one where integrity and fairness are honored. We have also asked Him to guide any legal steps you may need to take, trusting that He is the ultimate Judge who upholds truth and defends the vulnerable.

If the Lord has already moved in your situation—whether through a resolution in your favor, a peaceful transition to a new home, or even unexpected favor in this difficult season—we would be so encouraged to hear how He has answered.
