We understand your heartfelt desire to reach your ministry goals, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s will and guidance in this journey. First, let us affirm that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Ministry is a high calling, and it is right to seek the Lord’s direction and blessing as you pursue it.
However, we must also remind you—and ourselves—that our goals must align with God’s purposes, not our own ambitions. The Lord tells us in Proverbs 19:21, "There are many plans in a man’s heart, but the Lord’s counsel will prevail." Let us examine our hearts to ensure that these goals are truly for His glory and not our own. Are we seeking to build His kingdom or our own platform? Are we walking in humility, relying on His strength, or leaning on our own understanding?
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers must always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is through His sacrifice that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, acknowledging Him as Lord and Savior, so that your ministry—and all your endeavors—may be rooted in Him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother or sister who seeks to fulfill the ministry goals You have placed on their heart. Lord, we ask that You would align their desires with Your perfect will. Give them clarity, wisdom, and discernment as they seek to serve You. Remove any pride or self-reliance from their heart, and replace it with a deep dependence on You. Let their ministry be a reflection of Your love, Your truth, and Your power.
Father, we ask that You open doors that no one can shut and close doors that are not of You (Revelation 3:7-8). Protect them from discouragement, distraction, or the temptation to seek their own glory. May their work bear fruit that lasts for eternity, and may they always point others to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.
Lord, if there are any areas where their goals do not align with Your Word, we ask that You convict their heart and redirect their steps. Help them to walk in obedience, humility, and faith, trusting that You will accomplish Your purposes through them. We pray for strength, perseverance, and joy in the journey, knowing that You are with them every step of the way.
