We hear your heart’s desire to achieve the goals set before you this year, and we stand with you in seeking God’s will and favor in every step. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed." This verse encourages us to surrender our ambitions to the Lord, trusting that He will direct our paths when we acknowledge Him in all our ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).
However, we must also examine the nature of these goals. Are they aligned with God’s purposes for your life? Are they rooted in a desire to glorify Him, or are they driven by worldly ambitions that may lead you away from His will? We are called to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things—including the desires of our hearts—will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). Let us pray that your goals reflect His glory and that you remain steadfast in pursuing them with integrity, humility, and faith.
We also want to gently remind you of the importance of seeking God’s guidance through prayer and His Word. Without Him, our efforts are in vain (Psalm 127:1). If you have not already, we encourage you to invite Jesus Christ into every area of your life, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Salvation comes through confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). If you have not made this commitment, we urge you to do so today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, lifting up this dear one who seeks to achieve their goals this year. Lord, we ask that You would align their desires with Your perfect will. Give them wisdom, discipline, and perseverance to pursue the plans You have laid before them. May their efforts bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom here on earth.
Father, we pray that You would reveal any goals or ambitions that are not of You, and that You would redirect their steps according to Your purpose. Help them to seek You first in all things, trusting that You will provide for their needs and guide their paths. May they find their strength and hope in You alone, knowing that apart from You, they can do nothing (John 15:5).
Lord, we also ask that You would draw this one closer to You. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, we pray that You would soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. May they come to know the saving power of Your Son, Jesus, and walk in the freedom and purpose that only He can provide.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or distraction that may hinder their progress, and we declare that the plans You have for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Strengthen them in their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in every area of their life.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
