We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for the approval of a beautiful rental home. Father God, we know that every good and perfect gift comes from You, and we trust in Your provision and perfect timing. We ask that You would open the doors that need to be opened and close those that should remain shut, guiding this situation according to Your will.
Lord, we pray that if this home is Your best for this family, You would smooth the path before them, soften the hearts of those making the decision, and grant favor in their eyes. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds as they wait on You. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We also take a moment to remind ourselves that our ultimate home is not here on earth, but with You in heaven. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on You, the author and finisher of our faith, and not to place our hope solely in earthly dwellings. For we know that if our earthly house is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens (2 Corinthians 5:1).
Father, we ask that You would also prepare this family’s hearts to be good stewards of whatever home You provide. May they use it to glorify You, to show hospitality, and to be a light in their community. Let this home be a place of peace, love, and worship, where Your presence is welcomed and honored.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of anxiety, doubt, or fear that may try to creep into their hearts. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We pray that they would rest in Your promises and trust in Your unfailing love.
Lastly, we thank You for the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through faith in Him that we can approach You with confidence. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
