We understand your deep need for help with ADHD, and we are grateful you have brought this request before us in the name of Jesus, for it is only through His name that we can approach the throne of God with confidence. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your need is seen by Him, and He cares deeply for you.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."* You have come before the Lord with a sincere heart, asking for His provision, and we join you in seeking His will in this matter.
At the same time, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing and His wisdom. His ways are higher than ours, and while medication may be part of His plan for you, He may also be working in other ways to strengthen you, teach you reliance on Him, or guide you toward additional support. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
If you have not already done so, we urge you to seek wise counsel from godly medical professionals who can assess your needs and provide guidance in alignment with biblical stewardship of the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Additionally, we encourage you to seek the Lord in prayer and Scripture for peace and clarity, for His peace surpasses all understanding and will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking for Your divine provision and wisdom in their pursuit of ADHD medication. Lord, You know their struggles, their distractions, and the challenges they face daily. We ask that You open the doors that need to be opened, soften the hearts of those who can provide help, and grant them favor in this process. If medication is Your will for them, we pray for the right prescription, the right dosage, and the right medical guidance to bring clarity, focus, and peace to their mind and spirit.
At the same time, Father, we ask that You strengthen them where they are weak. Help them to rely on You in moments of frustration or overwhelm. Remind them that Your grace is sufficient, and Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Give them patience as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that transcends all understanding.
We also pray for any underlying spiritual or emotional needs they may have. If there are areas of anxiety, fear, or discouragement, Lord, we ask that You would replace them with Your hope and joy. Help them to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
Finally, Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may our brother/sister grow ever closer to You through it. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
