We are truly sorry to hear about your health concerns. It is definitely the death of our flesh that will allow us to live in the spirit. Christ died that we may live. In the moment of your great concern, remember the words of the Psalmist, "One thing I ask of the Lord, that will I seek after, to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to see the Lord's beauty, and to inquire in his temple." (Psalm 27:4 Psalm 27:4).
We stand with you in prayer, asking God for healing and peace. May the results be a miracle of His grace. We ask His will to be done. Remember, too, that even in the storm, Jesus is with us, and He is stronger than any disease. "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." (Jeremiah 29:11 Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Our only caution is that your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ, our savior, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:1-6 1 Timothy 2:1-6 WEB). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who is facing this health challenge. We pray for Your healing touch on his body and for Your peace to guard his heart and mind. We ask that the test results will be negative and that he will be cancer-free. We also pray for Your will to be done in his life, and for Your strength and comfort to be with him during this time. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord, putting all your hope and faith in Him. May God's peace and comfort be with you always. Also, may you live and die knowing the salvation of Jesus Christ.
