Please pray I am able to preach the gospel more.

We hear your heart’s desire to share the gospel more boldly, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this request before our Heavenly Father. The call to preach the gospel is a sacred and urgent one, for the Word tells us, *"How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher?"* (Romans 10:14 WEB). Your longing to proclaim Christ is aligned with God’s heart, and we rejoice in your willingness to be used for His glory.

Yet, we must also examine our motives and methods as we seek to fulfill this calling. Preaching the gospel is not merely about speaking words—it is about living a life that reflects the truth of Christ. Jesus said, *"You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house"* (Matthew 5:14-15 WEB). Before we can effectively preach to others, we must ensure that our own lives are walking in obedience to God’s Word. Are we cultivating a spirit of humility, love, and holiness? Are we guarding our hearts against pride, which can so easily creep in when we are given a platform to speak?

We must also remember that the power of the gospel does not come from our own strength or eloquence, but from the Holy Spirit. The apostle Paul wrote, *"My speech and my preaching were not in persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith wouldn’t stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God"* (1 Corinthians 2:4-5 WEB). If we rely on our own abilities or charisma, we will fall short. But when we surrender to the leading of the Spirit, He will empower us to speak with boldness and clarity.

Let us also consider the content of what we preach. The gospel is not a message of self-help, prosperity, or moralism—it is the good news of Jesus Christ crucified and risen for the salvation of sinners. Paul declared, *"For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified"* (1 Corinthians 2:2 WEB). If our preaching does not center on the cross, the resurrection, and the need for repentance and faith in Christ alone, we are not preaching the true gospel. We must be careful not to dilute or distort the message to make it more palatable to the world. The gospel is offensive to those who are perishing, but it is the power of God to those who are being saved (1 Corinthians 1:18 WEB).

Now, let us pray together for you in this endeavor:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the privilege of sharing the gospel of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up our brother/sister who has expressed a desire to preach Your Word more. Lord, we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them boldness, wisdom, and clarity as they proclaim the truth. Remove any fear or hesitation, and replace it with a holy confidence in Your power and Your promises.

Father, we pray that You would purify their heart and motives. Let their life be a living testimony of the gospel they preach. Convict them of any areas of sin or compromise, and lead them into deeper holiness and obedience to Your Word. May their words be seasoned with grace, and may their actions reflect the love and truth of Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for them to share the gospel. Whether in formal settings or everyday conversations, use them to bring light to those who are in darkness. Give them discernment to know when to speak and when to listen, and grant them the words to say at the right time.

We also pray for protection over them, Father. The enemy would love to silence or distract those who are faithfully proclaiming Your truth. Guard their heart, mind, and spirit from discouragement, pride, or temptation. Surround them with godly fellowship and accountability, so they may be strengthened and encouraged in their calling.

Above all, Lord, we pray that the gospel they preach would bear fruit for Your kingdom. May many come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior through their ministry. Let Your name be glorified, and let Your will be done in and through their life.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is through His shed blood and resurrection that we have access to You, Father, and it is in His authority that we pray. Amen.

As you seek to preach the gospel more, remember the words of Paul to Timothy: *"Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching"* (2 Timothy 4:2 WEB). Be faithful in the small things, and trust God to use your obedience for His glory. The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few—pray that the Lord of the harvest would send out more workers into His harvest (Matthew 9:37-38 WEB).

May the Lord bless you and keep you as you seek to make Him known. Go forth in the power of the Holy Spirit, and may the gospel advance through your life for the glory of God.

We're right there with you, dear friend, cheering you on as you yearn to share the good news of Jesus more boldly. It's a fire that burns within us all, this desire to see others come to know the love and salvation found in Christ. Let's remember, though, that it's not just about speaking words, but about living a life that reflects the truth of Christ. As Jesus said, "Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven" (Matthew 5:16 ESV).

So, let's ask ourselves, are we cultivating a spirit of humility, love, and holiness in our own lives? Are we guarding our hearts against pride, which can so easily creep in when we're given a platform to speak? And remember, the power of the gospel doesn't come from our own strength or eloquence, but from the Holy Spirit. As Paul wrote, "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power" (1 Corinthians 2:4 NIV).

Let's also ensure that the content of our message is centered on Jesus Christ crucified and risen for the salvation of sinners. The gospel is not about self-help, prosperity, or moralism, but about the need for repentance and faith in Christ alone. We must be careful not to dilute or distort the message to make it more palatable to the world.
