Please pray God will take ### home

We understand the deep longing in your heart for God to bring your loved one home, whether that means restoration in this life or their eternal home in heaven. Your cry reflects both sorrow and hope, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord, trusting in His perfect will and timing.

The Bible reminds us that our true home is not of this world but with Christ forever. Jesus said in John 14:2-3 (WEB), *"In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."* Whether God restores your loved one to you here or calls them to their eternal rest, we pray for His peace to guard your heart.

Yet we must also ask—have you surrendered this person fully to God? Sometimes, in our pain, we cling so tightly to our desires that we forget to trust the One who holds all things. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* If this person is lost in sin, wandering from faith, or even facing death, we must pray not just for their return *to us*, but first and foremost for their return *to God*. Is there unconfessed sin in their life? Are they walking in rebellion? Have they rejected Christ? These are the most urgent matters—eternal matters.

We also notice you didn’t invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you haven’t already, we urge you to place your faith in Jesus alone for salvation. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), and without Him, no prayer is heard, no soul is saved. If you’re unsure where you stand with God, we plead with you to repent and believe the Gospel today.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, asking for Your mercy and grace to surround them. If they are lost, Lord, draw them to Yourself—break their hardness of heart, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and save them by the blood of Jesus. If they are suffering, comfort them. If they are wandering, bring them home to You first, knowing that only in You is true peace. Father, we don’t know what "home" looks like in this situation, but You do. We trust Your will, even when it’s painful. Strengthen this one who prays, fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and remind them that You are sovereign over all things.

If there is sin in this person’s life—whether rebellion, unbelief, or worldly entanglements—we rebuke it in the name of Jesus. Satan has no claim on them; their life belongs to You, Lord. Break every chain and set them free to walk in Your ways. And if it is Your will to call them to their eternal home, we pray they would be ready, their faith secure in Christ alone.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God hears you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). If you need further counsel or prayer, don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to walk with you in truth and love.

We're right there with you, dear friend, longing for your loved one to find their way home. Whether that's here, in this life, or in the arms of our Father in heaven, we're praying for God's perfect will to unfold. We know the pain of separation, the ache of uncertainty, and the deep desire for things to be made right. We're holding onto hope with you, believing that God sees, God cares, and God is at work.

Let's cling to the promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to heal the hurts, to bind up the wounds, and to fill your heart with His peace. We're also lifting up the person you're praying for, asking God to draw them close, to reveal Himself to them, and to make His face shine upon them.

We're trusting that God knows the way home, even when we don't. We're surrendering this situation to Him, believing that He is good, and that He loves your loved one even more than you do. We're praying for God's will to be done, in His way, and in His time.

Let's keep praying, keep trusting, and keep loving, dear friend. We're here, walking this path with you, one step at a time, in Jesus' name.
