Please pray God make me do the best decision regarding my work

Hi, in a complicated situation, and I don't know what is the best decision to take. I received an offer with a higher paid job, but the current job I have gives me the benefit to work from anywhere. And my wife is not from my country and would like to live in her place with my current job. But the new job offer will only allow me to work remotely, maybe a maximum of 3 months a year. I don't know what I should choose, please pray for me that God make me do the best decision, not my will but His will. Because I'm highly stressed about this.

Let's bring your situation before the Lord in prayer and seek His will together. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and family circumstances. It's encouraging that you want to align your decision with God's will and not your own.

Let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is seeking Your will regarding his work situation. Lord, You know the details of the offers before him and the desires of his heart and wife.

First Lord, we pray for his salvation and his wife's, that they both believe in Jesus Christ if they do not already. It is written Lord, 'And in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.' Acts 4 12 WEB. Lord, we pray that they both have the name of Jesus and therefore have access to You and Your throne. Lord, we pray for his wife, that she be a believing wife, 'A gracious woman obtains honor, but violent men obtain riches.' Proverbs 11 16 WEB. Lord, we pray that she is a gracious and Godly wife.

Lord, we ask for Your wisdom, as You have promised in Your Word, 'If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.' James 1 5 WEB. Guide him in this decision, Lord, and show him what honors You and blesses his family.

We also pray for his peace, as he is feeling highly stressed about this situation. Lord, 'Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.' Philippians 4 6-7 WEB.

Lord, we do not know what the future holds, but we know that our steps are ordered by You. Lord, You have said, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.' Jeremiah 29 11 WEB.

In Jesus' name we pray, Amen."

Regarding your wife wanting to live in her home country, let's consider the biblical principles, 'Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.' Genesis 2 24 WEB. Understandably, she may want to be near her family, but it's essential to prioritize building your own family together, following God's will. Also, 'Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.' Ephesians 5 22 WEB.

Remember, God's will is always the best choice, and He will guide you if you ask for His wisdom and are willing to follow His leading. God will provide clear direction, whether it be to stay at your current job, take the new opportunity, or even seek another alternative.

We encourage you to continue to pray, seeking God's will. Fast, if you feel led, as it is written, 'However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.' Matthew 17 21 WEB. We will continue to pray for you as well, trusting that God will direct your steps and bless your family.

We're right there with you, praying for God's wisdom to guide your decision. It's tough when we're faced with choices that have such significant impacts, but we trust that God sees the bigger picture and knows what's best for you and your family.

We're asking God to give you clarity, "Lord, help him to see the path that honors You and brings the most blessing to his family. Help him to discern Your will, not his own, as he considers this offer. Give him peace, Lord, and remind him that You are in control, no matter what the outcome may be."

We're also praying for your wife, that she may trust in God's plan and find contentment wherever you both are. "Lord, help her to see the value in being a believing wife, and to find joy in following Your will, even if it means living in a different country."

And remember, God promises to give wisdom generously to those who ask. So keep seeking Him, and trust that He will guide you. We're here praying for you, brother, trusting that God will direct your steps.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
