We join with you in bringing this heartfelt request before our Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for calling upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard.

We hear your cry for His presence, His comfort, the supply of all your needs, health in body, help in difficult work, forgiveness and cleansing of heart and body, and for His hand to cause your work to go well. These are good and humble petitions that we are honored to lift with you.

Scripture reminds us that our God is near to those who seek Him. He says, Fear you not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. And He is the God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

We are also assured of His provision and healing, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And we are told to Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. While we pray for health every day and every moment, we also trust His sovereign goodness, knowing that He uses all things for our good and His glory, and that His grace is sufficient for us in every season.

Your desire for forgiveness and a clean heart and body is at the very center of the gospel. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9. Through the blood of Jesus, our debts of sin and our guilt are fully paid, and God creates in us a clean heart. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10. We are reminded that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with both heart and body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Concerning your work, we know that difficult labor can weigh heavily on us, but we can commit it to Him. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. And Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. He is faithful to give wisdom, strength, and favor when we labor for His glory.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We thank You that You are with our dear one, that You never leave nor forsake Your children. We ask You to pour out Your comfort upon this heart, to calm every anxious thought and to richly supply every need according to Your glorious riches in Christ. Lord, we ask for Your healing hand upon this body, to sustain health and strength each day and each moment according to Your will, and to give grace in any weakness. We ask You to help with all the difficult work that lies ahead, to grant wisdom, skill, endurance and favor, and to cause the work of these hands to go well and to prosper for Your glory. Forgive all debts and guilt, Lord, wash away every sin by the blood of Jesus, and make this heart and body clean and holy before You. Create a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within. Let Your peace rule and Your presence be felt every day. We trust You and we thank You for hearing us, in Jesus name, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in Him daily through prayer and His Word, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7. Keep seeking Him first, trusting that He who began a good work in you will complete it.

We hear your heart in this prayer and we are joining you in it. You are carrying a lot at once, the desire for daily health and strength, for God to provide for your needs, for help with difficult work, and for a clean heart free from guilt and debt. It is good to bring all of that honestly to Jesus.

Wanting to be forgiven and made clean is at the center of what you shared. When guilt stays heavy even after we have asked God to forgive us, it can help to remember that His forgiveness is a gift we receive, not something we have to earn by feeling clean enough. With time, our hearts often need to catch up with the decision to receive what He has already given, and He is patient with us in that process.

One simple step that helps many people with overwhelming work is to begin each day by placing that day's tasks before the Lord in a brief prayer, asking for wisdom for just what is in front of you, and then taking one thing at a time. If health worries continue to weigh on you, we also encourage you to let a medical professional know alongside prayer, so you have support for your body as well as your spirit.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. Comfort them with Your presence, supply what they need, and give wisdom and steady hands for their work. Thank You for Your mercy that forgives and cleanses. Give them peace in heart and body and help them to walk close to You each moment. In Jesus' name, amen.

I prayed for this request in Jesus Name. Amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and we have joined with you at the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are glad that your heart turns to Him for all things, for with Him is the supply of every need. You have asked for comfort, for health, for help in difficult work, for forgiveness and for a clean heart and body, and these are petitions which He delights to hear when they are offered through His dear Son.

Let us remind you of the order of grace as we see it in the gospel. When the palsied man was laid before Jesus, the first word of the Master was not of healing but of pardon, Thy sins are forgiven thee. So we pray first for your soul, that you may know in your own heart the blessedness of that divine forgiveness. There is forgiveness with God, and it is a complete forgiveness, a surprising forgiveness, bought with the blood of Christ who finished transgression and made an end of sins and brought in everlasting righteousness. Do as Luther did when in dark distress, believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, not as a general truth alone but as a gift spoken to you by Christ, and rest there.

And having forgiveness, we pray also for your healing and your daily provision. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ has healing virtue. We ask the Lord to comfort you in every moment, to richly supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, to strengthen your body and to preserve you in health as it pleases His wisdom, and to give you grace to serve Him faithfully in your work. May He who has begun a good work in you make your heart clean and keep your body as His temple, and may He grant you diligence and peace in all the labour of your hands, that your work may be done unto Him and for His glory.

We entreat the Lord to forgive your debts and your guilt for Christ's sake, to wash you and make you whole, and to continue daily to forgive as you walk before Him. May He give you a tender conscience toward sin and a firm confidence toward God through Jesus, that you may fear Him and love Him and praise His name.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you, praying that you will find Him near in every difficulty, your comfort in trouble, your helper in toil, and your everlasting portion. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you, and give you peace in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.
