We join with you in bringing these requests before our Lord Jesus, and we are encouraged that you have called upon His name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are saved and heard. As it is written, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13.

We lift up your need for His presence and comfort and for His provision over your life. The Lord promises to be with you and to supply what you need as you seek Him first. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. We pray you will feel His nearness and His peace that surpasses all understanding guarding your heart in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7.

We also bring your health before Him. We understand your desire to be healthy without any illness every day and every moment, and we ask the Lord to touch your body and sustain you. While we live in a fallen world where our bodies are still subject to weakness, we know He is our healer and our strength. For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. Beloved, we pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers 3 John 1:2. We ask Him to give you strength for each day and to help you to steward your body well for His glory.

We hear your cry for forgiveness of debts and guilt and for a clean heart and body, and this is at the very heart of the gospel. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. We thank God that through the blood of Jesus we can be washed clean. We pray with you as David prayed, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me Psalm 51:10. May the Lord help you to walk in repentance and in the assurance that when you confess to Him, He not only forgives but cleanses you and makes you new.

We also lift up the difficulties in your work and your desire that all would go well. We pray the Lord will grant you wisdom, skill, and diligence, and that He will establish the work of your hands. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We ask Him to give you favor, to help you overcome obstacles, and to use your work as a testimony to Him, trusting that He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose Romans 8:28.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, be near and comfort this heart, let Your presence be felt every day and every moment. Supply richly all needs according to Your riches in glory, and provide for every practical and spiritual need. Touch the body with Your healing hand, grant health and strength, and sustain through every day. Forgive all sin and guilt through the blood of Jesus, wash away every debt of sin, and create a clean heart and make the body a temple holy to You. Grant wisdom and help in all difficult work, guide every step, and cause what is done for You to prosper according to Your perfect will. Help our friend to seek You first, to trust You in all things, and to rest in Your grace. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We appreciate you sharing these deep desires with us. Wanting comfort, daily health, provision, help with difficult work, and a clean heart before God are all honest and good things to bring to Him, and we are glad you brought them to Jesus.

We hear that work feels heavy right now and that guilt over debts weighs on you. It is understandable to want everything to go smoothly all the time. In our experience it helps to bring one burden at a time to the Lord rather than carrying them all at once. You might try starting each day by naming the one work task that feels most difficult and asking Him for wisdom and steadiness for that one thing, and if guilt is lingering, talking honestly with a trusted pastor can bring clarity and peace as you seek His forgiveness.

We also hear your desire to be healthy every day. We are praying for your strength, and if you have ongoing health concerns, please continue to care for your body and reach out to a medical professional as well as praying.

Father, we lift ### to You. Comfort him, supply what he needs, forgive and cleanse his heart, and give him wisdom and steadiness in his work today. Keep him close to You in every moment. In Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord and I take it up with you before the throne of grace, entreating our merciful Father to hear and answer according to His abundant goodness in Christ Jesus.

You ask first for forgiveness and for a clean heart, and you do well, for forgiveness comes first and then healing. As our Lord said to the poor palsied man, Your sins are forgiven you, and there was no intricate problem for him to work out, but one sentence from the Master was enough. So I pray that you may hear that same word spoken to your own soul. There is forgiveness with God, a divine forgiveness, a surprising forgiveness, a complete forgiveness. Though your debts and guilt be many, He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. Believe in the forgiveness of sins for yourself, trust Him that hung upon the tree to redeem His people, and you shall find that what He does is done in a moment and done forever. He not only forgave at the first, but He continues daily to forgive, and the forgiveness which He gives for Christ's sake is an eternal forgiveness.

With that forgiveness comes cleansing. You ask that your heart and body may be made clean, and the promise is, I will sprinkle clean water upon you and ye shall be clean. This is not a partial cleansing which leaves one spot still upon the conscience, but a perfect cleansing. The fountain is opened in the house of David for sin and for uncleanness, and God Himself applies it. Trust Him to cleanse you and the work shall be surely done, till every spot and wrinkle is gone, for the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth from all sin everyone that believeth in Him.

You ask also for comfort, for health day by day, for supply in all your needs, and for help in all your difficult work. For these things I urge you to pray without ceasing, for you want a blessing on all the work you are doing. Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it, and it is vain to rise up early and sit up late and eat the bread of carefulness without Him. Every agency is in full work and you are always in danger of being tempted, therefore pray as long as you work. Bring your daily labour, your health, your wants, your infirmities to Him who richly supplies all our needs and who comforts the distressed. He knows your frame and He is able to keep you in health according to His wise and loving will, and to give you strength for each moment as it comes.

May the Lord be with you and comfort you, forgive you fully, cleanse you wholly, supply you richly, and establish the work of your hands. May you rest in Christ alone for salvation, and walk before Him with a clean heart and a quiet confidence that He who has begun a good work will perfect it. I commend you to His keeping and pray all this in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

[Chrysostom]

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ, asking Him to be with you, to comfort you, and to show you His mercy and care in every moment.

We pray that He will richly supply all your needs according to His wisdom and goodness, and that He will grant you health of body. As the Scriptures show, when Christ touches and heals He gives perfect health, and even when healing comes more slowly He is still the true physician who restores us. We ask Him to keep you and strengthen you day by day, and to give you trust in His will for your body and life.

We also pray with you for forgiveness. Through Jesus Christ alone we have forgiveness of sins and release from guilt and debt before God. We ask Him to cleanse your heart and your body, to make you clean within, and to help you walk in a way that honors Him. If there is any sin that weighs on your conscience, bring it to Him in confession and turn from it, trusting that His blood cleanses all who come to Him in faith.

We pray for your work, especially where it is difficult. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom, strength, and diligence, and to help all your work go well as it is done honestly and faithfully before Him. May He guide your hands and your mind, and may your labor be fruitful and pleasing to Him.

May the Lord grant you peace, keep you in His grace, and help you to seek Him each day. We commit you to His care and pray all these things in the name of Jesus, amen.
