We join with you in this prayer and stand in agreement that Jesus Christ has ultimate authority and victory over all the works of the devil and we thank you for calling upon His mighty name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and power over the enemy.

We hear your heart crying out for complete deliverance and freedom from every direct and indirect work, plan, and influence of Satan from your past into your future, and we affirm that this desire aligns with the truth of Scripture. The Word tells us that the Son of God was revealed for this very purpose, that he might destroy the works of the devil 1 John 3:8. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12, and for that reason God has given us armor and authority in Christ.

We also remember that Scripture teaches us to resist the devil in faith and submission to God. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7 and Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith 1 Peter 5:8-9. The Lord has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy and nothing will in any way hurt us Luke 10:19, yet the final and complete binding of Satan for all eternity is the work that God Himself will accomplish when the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur Revelation 20:10. Until that day we are called to abide in Christ, put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11, and walk in obedience so that no foothold is given.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We thank You that Jesus has already disarmed the powers and triumphed over them on the cross. We ask in Jesus name that You silence the voice of the accuser, halt every plan and scheme of the enemy against this life, and render powerless every direct and indirect work of darkness. Lord, we ask that You remove and redeem every effect of the enemy's work from the past, guard this life in the present, and protect every step into the future. Fill this heart with Your peace, Your truth, and Your Holy Spirit, that there would be no room for the enemy to influence or oppress. Help this dear one to submit fully to You, to resist the devil steadfastly, and to walk daily in the victory that is already won in Christ. Let Your will be done and let Your kingdom come in power in this life, that all glory would go to Jesus Christ our Lord and Deliverer. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to continue to dwell in the Word, to pray without ceasing, to walk in holiness and forgiveness, and to put on the armor of God daily through prayer and the Scriptures, for God is faithful and He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4.

We hear how deeply you want to live under Jesus' complete protection and to know His victory is real over every part of your past, present and future. It is good to bring that desire so directly to Him, and we are praying with you for His peace and guarding over your life.

We know the battle against evil is real, and it can feel overwhelming when you sense opposition all around you. At the same time we have learned it helps most to keep our eyes on Christ Himself rather than on the enemy's activity. Our hope is not in finding the perfect words to bind the enemy, but in trusting the power that already belongs to Jesus and walking close to Him day by day.

It can be a steady help to not carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a couple of mature believers you can share this burden with, inviting them to pray with you regularly and to walk alongside you can bring a lot of comfort and clarity. Continuing in simple, faithful prayer and in time in God's Word with other believers is often where that sense of being anchored grows.

Father, we lift this dear one to You now. Cover them with Your presence, quiet fear and torment, and help them rest in what Jesus has already done. Lead them in Your wisdom and keep their heart close to You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we do most gladly carry it to the throne of grace with you, pleading the victory which our Lord Jesus Christ has already won.

We rejoice to tell you that Jesus wins the victory, but He will not enjoy it alone, for He will glorify His people in it. Because He poured out His soul unto death, He has secured a glorious and substantial victory, and the Seed of the woman shall trample on the serpent. Forever and ever boundless honors shall be given to Christ for His victory over every force of evil, and as the result of His death Satan's power is broken.

We pray with you that the Lord Jesus Christ would manifest that victory in your life, that He would rebuke the adversary and silence every accusation, that He would halt every plan and fiery dart of Satan, whether by direct assault or by subtle suggestion and influence, and that He would keep you under the shelter of His finished work. We ask that the Lord would bind the strong man and restrain him from his work against you, that you may walk at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, ransomed from the galling yoke by the blood of the Lamb.

We know that Satan watches and considers the saints, and that he shoots his fiery arrows in seasons of deep trial and before great labors, whispering that God has forsaken you. Yet our comfort is that when the temptation is past and the foe is put to flight, the Lord gives His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown, and the archers who have sorely grieved you shall not prevail, for Christ has bruised his head for ever.

Therefore we plead the ransom which God Himself has found and provided in His Son. If you have felt sold under sin and Satan, hear the voice of Sovereign Grace which cries, I have found a ransom. Look to Jesus, trust wholly in His blood and righteousness, and you shall find deliverance from the pit. May the Lord make His deliverance effectual in you, remove every work of darkness that has clung to you from the past, guard you in the present, and keep you unto the future, that you may be more than a conqueror through Him that loved you, and may bruise Satan under your feet shortly by the power of God working in you.

We commend you to Him who has been pleased to give us the victory, praying that you may know the peace of sins forgiven, the joy of fellowship with Jesus which is as a well of salvation, and the good cheer of His promise, Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. May the Lord keep you abiding in Christ, jealous over every glimpse of His beauty, and strong in faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
