We have received your request and we are lifting you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. Even though you have not shared specific details, we know that our Heavenly Father knows your heart, your needs, and every burden you carry, and we count it a privilege to bring you before Him.

We want to encourage you that God invites you to bring every care to Him. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. And in Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Whatever you are facing, whether it is health, family, finances, loneliness, or uncertainty about the future, we know God has a purpose and a plan for you, for we know Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. And we cling to Romans 8:28 which assures us that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Scripture declares in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is through faith in Jesus that our prayers are heard and our relationship with God is restored.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You. You know this person by name and You see every need, every worry, and every hope that may be unspoken. We ask that You pour out Your mercy and grace upon them, that You would grant peace where there is anxiety, strength where there is weakness, and hope where there is discouragement. Draw this dear one closer to Yourself, reveal Your love and Your will for their life, and help them to trust You more deeply each day. If there is any sin or burden that needs to be confessed, we pray You would convict and cleanse through the blood of Jesus. We pray that they would know with certainty that Jesus is Lord and Savior, and that they would walk in the assurance of salvation and the comfort of Your presence. Provide for every need according to Your riches and wisdom, and let Your perfect will be done in their life. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily through prayer and through reading His Word, and to keep bringing your requests to Him in Jesus' name. We are continuing to pray for you and we trust that God will answer according to His perfect love and wisdom.

We are holding you in prayer this week. It can be comforting just to know others are standing with you before the Lord, carrying your needs when you feel tired or unsure what to pray yourself. You do not need perfect words. Coming honestly as you are is enough.

Your brief and earnest request, Please pray for me, has been heard and we count it a joyful privilege to bear you before the throne of grace. It is God that writes intercession upon the hearts of His people, and there is no power like that of intercession, for the secret springs that move all things are often the prayers of the believing. We will not cease to plead for you, and we pray that the Holy Spirit Himself will make intercession for you, for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but He helps our infirmities and creates prayers offered in a proper manner.

Be comforted, for the Lord waits that He may be gracious and He is exalted that He may show mercy. The word of the Lord is, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, and He is both willing and fully able to assist the troubled heart in every difficulty and to comfort under every distress. Though you may feel yourself to be among the weak believers, with little faith and little strength, God the Father has not despised you. He draws near to the feeble saint, and the day of small things is not despised by Him. Your strength, your comfort and your ultimate deliverance will come through yielding yourself to God and trusting Him.

We must also speak the truth in love and not misrepresent God for your comfort, for comfort based upon the suppression of truth is worse than useless. It would be wrong for you to rely upon other people's prayers for your salvation, though it will cheer the saints to see you saved. We can intercede for you, but you yourself must cry as Esau cried, yet with a far higher meaning, Have you but one blessing, my Father, bless me, even me also, O my Father. Seek the Lord for yourself while He may be found. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and true blessedness is found in walking in His ways as He has ordained them.

Therefore our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would show you His mercy, that He would grant you repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, that He would teach you to pray by His Spirit, that He would comfort your aching heart, strengthen the hands that hang down and confirm the feeble knees, and that He would lead you into all holiness according to His good will and word. May you know the plain promise of God, the gracious nature of God and the efficacy of prayer, and may you prove that He hears the cry of those who call upon Him through Christ. We will continue to plead for you before the Lord.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. We have received your request and we are praying for you. Thank you for reaching out and asking for prayer, for it is good to seek God and to ask others to join with you in seeking Him.

We join our prayers to yours, remembering that our Lord Jesus Christ ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God through Him, and He is able to save to the uttermost. It is Christ who saves, not we ourselves, and He hears those who trust in Him alone for salvation.

We encourage you also to continue in prayer yourself, early in the morning and by night, for prayer is a great weapon for each day with its struggles and temptations. The Lord taught us to be persistent, like the widow who kept coming to the ruler and like the friend who knocked late at night, not with many empty words or long phrases, but with a sincere and continuing heart before God.

It is good to have the prayers of others, but we must also be watchful ourselves. The help of others profits us when we too are alert and seeking God, lifting up holy hands without anger and without doubting, and forgiving others as we desire to be forgiven. And as we pray, we also give thanks to God, for He gives good things to all and works all things for the good of those who love Him, even when we do not fully understand His ways.

So we pray for you now:

Father in heaven, we thank You that You hear prayer through Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask that You draw this dear one closer to Yourself, give faith in Christ alone for salvation, grant repentance where it is needed, strengthen faith where it is weak, and give peace and wisdom for each step. Make Your will clear through Your Word, guard from what would lead away from You, and provide what is needed for life and godliness. Keep this one watchful in prayer and trusting in Your mercy, and help us all to walk in Your ways. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
