Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this heavy burden and for your love and concern for her. We join you in prayer for her protection, help and deliverance.
God sees what she has endured and He knows the evil that has come against her through the night. Scripture teaches that to fear the Lord is to hate evil, because God Himself hates evil. Evil always seeks to be tolerated and to draw us into compromise, but wisdom begins with turning away from it and hating what God hates. Part of our prayer is that she will be kept far from evil and that any ground given to it will be closed.
We also remember that true safety does not come from our own strength or preparation. We may prepare as best we can, but safety belongs to the Lord. We are praying that the Lord Himself will be her refuge and defender, that He will watch over her and keep her from harm, and that He will make her path easier as she walks with Him. The promise given is that when we fear the Lord and depart from evil, it brings health and strength to our lives.
We recognize too that attacks like this are often not only physical or emotional but spiritual in nature. The enemy works in hidden and deceitful ways, and when we recognize that the conflict is spiritual we can respond in the right way. Rather than reacting in the flesh or trying to return evil for evil, we can commit the matter to the Lord and trust Him to act. He is our defender, and when we entrust ourselves to Him He takes up our cause far better than we can ourselves.
So we pray for her in the name of Jesus, asking God to surround her with His protection, to drive back every evil influence, and to bring peace where there has been fear and torment. We pray that she will be clothed with righteousness through Christ, stand firm in the peace of the gospel, and have the Word of God as her strength and weapon. Through prayer and trusting in Jesus, God is able to command evil to leave and to set the oppressed free, and we ask Him to do that for her.
We also pray for her salvation and wholeness, that she would know Jesus as her Savior and Lord, for it is only through Him that we have forgiveness, life and lasting deliverance. May the Lord guard her night and day, keep her from the plans of those who would harm her, and let her dwell securely in His care. We will continue to remember her before the Lord and ask Him to show her His kindness, to keep her from all evil, and to fill her heart with His peace.
