Please pray for ###

Your honesty about feeling down is a brave thing to voice, and I’m grateful to stand with you in prayer over your health and the hostility you’re facing. When the body is weak or the mind is heavy, it can feel like the whole world is pressing in. At the same time, you are asking for covering and protection because people have set themselves against you simply for following Jesus. That’s a hard road, and I want you to know you are not walking it alone.

The relationship between the state of your soul and your physical well-being is far closer than we often realize. I am not handing you a guarantee that a peaceful mind will instantly cure your body; that kind of formula isn't what Scripture teaches. But God is interested in your health, and He designed your body and your spirit to affect one another. While you wait for His healing touch, consider how you can nurture your soul. Rest in His presence. Let His words speak calm to the anxiety that tries to grip you. Sometimes the Lord brings physical restoration in a single moment, and sometimes He works through a gradual process that is just as much a divine intervention. Any true movement toward wholeness is from Him, whether He speaks it instantly or lets it unfold over time. We do not understand why some are healed and others are not, but we trust the Healer.

While you seek health, do not neglect the simple, practical ways God has already provided for your body to function well. Caring for your physical needs is not a distraction from faith; it’s part of being a good steward. A weary body makes the battle feel heavier, so be mindful to feed and rest and cleanse what you can. Do not think it’s unspiritual to tend to those things, for our Maker understands the dust we are made of.

And now to the attacks you mentioned. It is a painful thing when people hate you because your life belongs to Christ. Yet persecution, as hard as it is, has a way of refining true faith. The early believers discovered that when the pressure came, their love for one another grew stronger and their trust in God became more genuine. Opposition did not destroy the early church; instead, God used it to spread the gospel and deepen the roots of believers’ hearts. The same Lord who allowed that scattering also held them, and He holds you now. He knows exactly what you are bearing, and He is not indifferent to the injustices aimed at you. There will come a day when His righteous judgment sets everything right, but for now, you are living as a manifest token of His righteousness when you endure trouble for His name with a quiet, steady heart. Your steadfastness itself is a kind of testimony that the world cannot escape.

Do not be discouraged if your endurance feels small. Even the apostle who spearheaded much of the early persecution was later haunted by his own violent past, and yet God transformed him into a powerful witness. The one who once attacked the church became one who would not flee from hardship but considered it a privilege to suffer for Christ. There is no hatred aimed at you now that is beyond the Lord’s scope to turn around, and there is no wound He cannot heal in your emotions and your memory. Jesus took our infirmities and carried our sorrows. His work touches the whole person, spirit, mind, and body.

For that reason, I join you in asking the Lord to cover and protect you. Let that covering be not only a shield from the enemy’s assaults but a quiet confidence deep inside. I ask that He would bring healing to every part of you that is unwell, whether instantly or gradually, according to His perfect wisdom. May He calm your mind, restore your strength, and give you such a profound sense of His presence that the hatred of others loses its power to shake you. May He turn the attacks into a place where your faith stands unmasked and your love for those who mistreat you becomes a sign of the gospel itself. Trust Him to handle the outcome while you rest in Christ, whose body was broken and whose blood was shed to make you whole. Praying in Jesus’ name alongside you.

We want to thank you for trusting us with the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time. Our hearts have been heavy as we lifted you before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing to your body, peace to your mind, and comfort to your spirit. We have prayed specifically for the Lord’s covering and protection over you, asking Him to shield you from the attacks of those who oppose your faith and to replace your sorrow with His joy.

If the Lord has answered your prayers in any way—whether through a sense of peace, physical healing, or divine protection—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If, however, the burdens still feel heavy and the battles still rage, please know we are here to continue lifting you up. You are not alone, and we will keep standing in agreement with you, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see it.

May the Lord bless you with His presence, strengthen your faith, and remind you of His unfailing love. Keep seeking Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
