please pray for ###

You ask for Christ to forgive all your debts, but consider carefully the prayer He Himself taught you. You say, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." With what confidence will you utter this, if your own heart holds a record of wrongs against another? You seek a clean heart and body, yet the cleansing of the soul begins not with a request alone but with the action of mercy. Forgive the trespasses of others, and you imitate God Himself. There is no poverty so great that it prevents this, for to forgive requires no wealth, no bodily strength, only the will. If you say you are unable to forgive a debt of money, what excuse remains for refusing to forgive a trespass, which you can forgive without any loss? Indeed, it is not loss but abundant gain.

You ask for health without illness every day and moment, and for help in difficult work. This is a noble desire, but know that the soul’s health must precede the body’s comfort. Many who are healthy in body grow sick in soul through remissness, while those who are sick in body become whole through a change of will. The one who stands in the church must watch lest he fall; the one on the stave must arise. Do not think that health consists in the absence of physical affliction. He is truly rich who despises the world’s wealth and desires nothing; he is truly healthy who bears his trials lightly and keeps Christ’s commandments.

You ask for a clean heart. Excellent! Yet how shall it be made clean? Not by a season of prayer alone, as if forty days could purge the sins of a year while you return to former things. If you rise from a long illness and then consume the very food that caused it, have you not destroyed your recovery? The purity of life is what pleases God, not words alone. He said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” He did not say, “Work miracles,” or “Ask only for your needs.” To become His friend, strive after an excellent course of life. Let there be no separation between your prayer for forgiveness and your readiness to forgive. For what profit is it to have all your bodily needs supplied, if through an unforgiving spirit you fall from the service of Christ? Examine your heart, then, and let your request be matched by your own mercy, so that you may demand forgiveness as a debt from His lovingkindness, not as a right.

Your prayer reaches the heart of the God of all comfort. He does not stand at a distance when you are distressed; He draws near in the dark hours, speaking strength and encouragement into the places you feel most fragile. Right now, even before you see the supply or the healing, He is at work, first working in you, because that must happen before He works through you. The sharp edges He sometimes chips away feel painful, but they are necessary, and He promises to be your companion in every trial. When you are brought to the end of your own resources, you are exactly where He can step in and show His faithfulness.

The forgiveness you asked for is already yours in Jesus. All your debts, everything you have ever owed spiritually, every transgression, were canceled at the cross. His work is finished. You cannot add a single effort to make yourself more forgiven or more clean. Your standing is in that completed work, not your own striving. Rest in that tonight. And because you have been forgiven a debt so vast, like millions compared to a few dollars, the Spirit will cultivate in you a heart that freely forgives others. If any bitterness lingers, simply tell Him, “Lord, I am willing that You make me willing,” and He will do that cleansing from the inside out.

Your health matters deeply, but spiritual health matters more. Jesus can and does heal, but sometimes He uses physical struggle to bring a deeper wholeness within. When He said that if an eye causes you to sin it should be torn out, He showed us how urgently He desires a pure heart and body. That cleansing is His work, not yours. Yield to the Spirit’s conviction, and let Him make you a new creation. The old things pass away; everything becomes fresh.

As for your difficult work, do not let it become a way to earn His favor. Any work you try to do for God that springs from a need to gain merit will exhaust you. Instead, work from a response to the grace He has already poured out. He commanded that those who are able should work quietly and earn their own bread, but the deeper purpose is that your labor reflects trust in His provision, not anxiety. Wait for His timing as well; impatience so often gets in the way of what He is working out.

So I stand with you in this: Jesus, Lord, be with Your child. Comfort in the lonely places. Supply every true need according to Your riches. Grant health as You will, and use every moment to draw this heart closer to Yours. Forgive the debts, You already have, and make that forgiveness felt deep in the spirit. Cleanse heart and body, and let the finished work of Christ be the only ground of hope. In Jesus’ name, amen.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our joy to come before the throne of grace on your behalf, lifting up your heartfelt requests to our Heavenly Father. We prayed for the Lord Jesus to draw near to you, bringing His perfect comfort and peace to your soul. We asked Him to richly supply every one of your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

We also prayed for your health, that the Great Physician would touch your body and keep you free from illness, strengthening you in every moment. We interceded for your work, asking the Lord to grant you wisdom, strength, and favor as you navigate challenges. We stood in agreement with you for the forgiveness of debts, both spiritual and material, knowing that our God is faithful to forgive and to provide. And we prayed for purity of heart and body, that the Holy Spirit would cleanse and renew you daily.

If the Lord has answered any of these prayers—if you’ve felt His comforting presence, seen His provision, experienced healing, or found grace in your work—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Please share how God has moved so that we may rejoice with you.

If, however, your heart still waits on the Lord and you long for His answers to manifest, we invite you to post your request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, lifting you up before our Father until you see His faithfulness unfold. May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may you know the depth of His love and care for you through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty and precious name. Amen.
