I read your request and my heart goes out to you. The very things you're asking for, comfort, provision, health, forgiveness, a clean heart, these are exactly the kinds of needs our Lord cares about most deeply. So let's bring them before Him together, not as a formula to get His attention, but from the place of the grace He's already poured out on you.
You asked for Jesus to be with you and comfort you. That's a beautiful and biblical place to start because He is the God of all comfort. He doesn't just send comfort from a distance; He stands beside you in the dark hours, in the difficult situations, in the moments when your strength is gone. When your heart is in turmoil, He desires to speak words that lift you out of despair. Sometimes that comfort comes as you open His Word and let it minister to you. Other times it's simply His presence reminding you that your sins are already dealt with through Christ, and because of that, you can relate to God in full confidence. That's real comfort.
You also asked for a clean heart and for your debts to be forgiven. Here's where I want to encourage you: the debt you owed was unimaginably large, not a small sum, but a staggering weight of sin and offense against God. And in Christ, He forgave it all. Every offense, every transgression, completely wiped out. That forgiveness is a finished work, given to you as a gift of grace, not something you have to earn by your efforts. You can't add to it by working harder or trying to be good enough. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. When you truly grasp that, it frees you. It also changes how you handle the smaller debts others owe you. Having been forgiven so much, your heart is free to forgive others from the heart, just as God for Christ's sake has forgiven you.
I hear your longing for health and for help with difficult work. It's right to ask. The leper came to Jesus and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." And Jesus answered, "I am willing." So we can always give allowance for God to work in the physical realm, when He so desires. But remember, your spiritual health is far more precious than your physical health. God's work in you is deeper than healing a body; He is shaping you, making you a new creation. Sometimes that process feels like He's chipping off rough edges, and it can be painful. Yet He's preparing you for the work He has for you to do. As you face daily tasks, you can take a new attitude: working as unto the Lord, not to gain His favor, but as a response to the favor He's already given.
So as you pray for all these things, rest in this truth: the God who began a good work in you will carry it to completion. His grace is sufficient. When you don't understand what He's doing, ask Him to let His merciful kindness be your comfort. Trust His heart. He is faithful.
Let me pray with you now: Lord Jesus, draw near to this one crying out to You. Comfort with the comfort only You can give. Remind this soul that every debt has been fully paid at the cross. Strengthen the body, order the work, and above all, make the heart pure by Your Spirit. Help a spirit of forgiveness to flow freely, just as much has been forgiven. Give peace in the waiting, and let Your Word bring life and hope. In Jesus' name, amen.
