We hear your cry for comfort, provision, and healing, and we stand with you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You draw near to our dear brother/sister, wrapping them in Your loving arms and filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You touch their body, soul, and spirit, making them whole and healthy. Remove any illness, pain, or infirmity, and strengthen them with Your might. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed, and we stand on Your promise that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, we also ask that You comfort them in every moment of their day. Let them feel Your presence so tangibly that they know without a doubt that You are with them. Remind them of Your faithfulness and love, and help them to cast all their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10), and let them walk in the fullness of life that You have promised to those who love You.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may be trying to take hold in their life. We declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life and health over them, and we command every cell in their body to align with Your perfect will for their well-being.
Father, we also ask that You guide them in their daily walk with You. Help them to seek You first in all things, knowing that when they do, all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). Let them grow in wisdom, understanding, and intimacy with You, so that they may live a life that is pleasing in Your sight.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We trust in Your promises and declare that our brother/sister is more than a conqueror through Him who loved them (Romans 8:37). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer, Provider, and Comforter. Amen.
