We lift up this request with a heart full of compassion and a spirit aligned with God’s Word. First, we notice the placeholder "###" in the prayer, and we want to gently remind you that our Heavenly Father knows each of us by name—He calls us individually and loves us personally. In Jeremiah 1:5, the Lord says, *"Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you. Before you were born, I sanctified you."* Let us pray specifically for the person you are lifting up, trusting that God hears and answers according to His perfect will.
We also want to encourage you to boldly approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection—that we have access to the Father. If the person you are praying for has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray they would come to know Him as Lord and Savior.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up the person represented in this request, asking that You would draw them close to Your heart. Lord, let Your presence surround them like a shield, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, that they may know You not just as a distant figure, but as a loving Father who cares deeply for them.
Father, if this person has not yet placed their trust in Jesus Christ, we pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften their heart to receive Your love and grace, and let them experience the transforming power of Your Holy Spirit. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also ask that You would guide them in every area of their life—whether in their relationships, their work, their struggles, or their joys. Help them to walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on their life, and let them be a light to those around them. If there are areas where they are not aligned with Your Word, we ask that You would convict them gently but firmly, leading them into repentance and restoration.
We rebuke any spirit of confusion, fear, or doubt that may be trying to hinder this person’s faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and breakthrough over their circumstances, trusting that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect timing. May Your will be done in this person’s life, and may they grow in their relationship with You each day. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying specifically for this individual, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Remember the words of 1 John 5:14-15: *"This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."* Keep standing in faith, knowing that God is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in each of us.
