We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious daughter to our Heavenly Father. The weight of her struggles—anxiety, loneliness, the longing for deep friendship, and the daily challenges of type 1 diabetes—is not lost on us. We recognize the urgency of this moment, for her life is a sacred gift from God, and we stand in the gap for her with faith and fervency.
First, we rebuke the spirit of despair and suicide in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that she may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that her life has purpose, value, and hope, and we command every lie that tells her otherwise to be silenced. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, emotions, and body, asking for His peace to guard her heart and her thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask You to surround her with Your presence in a tangible way. When she feels alone, remind her that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When anxiety threatens to overwhelm her, let her cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We pray for divine connections—godly friends who will love her, encourage her, and point her to You. Open doors for fellowship where she can experience the love of Christ through others, for iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).
Lord, we also lift up her physical health, asking for strength and wisdom as she manages her diabetes. Grant her discipline, clarity, and peace in her daily care, and let her see Your faithfulness even in the midst of this trial. Remind her that her identity is not defined by her diagnosis but by who she is in You—a beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14).
We encourage you, as her parent, to draw near to her with patience, love, and wisdom. Speak life into her, reminding her of God’s promises and her worth in His eyes. Seek out biblical counseling or a trusted pastor who can walk alongside her, for the wisdom of many counselors brings safety (Proverbs 11:14). Do not hesitate to involve professionals who can provide medical and emotional support—this is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom and care.
Above all, we pray that she would come to know Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior if she does not already. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If she has not yet surrendered her life to Him, we ask that the Holy Spirit would draw her with cords of love, revealing to her the depth of His sacrifice and the hope of eternal life. For those who believe in Him, there is no condemnation, and nothing can separate them from the love of God (Romans 8:1, 38-39).
Heavenly Father, we trust You with her life. We ask for miracles—miracles of healing, miracles of friendship, miracles of faith. Let her experience Your love in ways that leave no doubt of Your goodness. Strengthen her spirit, renew her mind, and fill her with hope that does not disappoint (Romans 5:5). We declare that this season of struggle will not define her but will be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
