Your mention of Jesus as Lord is a powerful declaration—it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We are so grateful you have called on His name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You draw near to this dear one who is seeking Your presence. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, calming their heart and mind with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let them feel Your nearness in every moment, knowing that You are their ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, You have promised to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We trust in Your faithfulness to provide not only for their physical and material needs but also for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We also pray that You would strengthen their faith as they walk through this season.
