We hear your heart’s cry for the Lord’s guidance and provision in your life and work. It is beautiful that you invoke the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father or receive true direction. As Scripture declares, *"For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Your trust in Him is the foundation upon which all godly wisdom and purpose are built.
Yet we must gently examine the posture of your request. You ask the Lord to *"take full control"* and guide you *"without me lifting a finger."* While we understand the longing for divine intervention, Scripture also calls us to active faith and obedience. Jesus does not override our will but invites us to walk in partnership with Him. *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). This requires not passivity, but a surrendered heart that seeks His will daily through prayer, Scripture, and godly counsel.
We also encourage you to consider whether there are areas in your life where you may be resisting His leading. Are there habits, relationships, or decisions that do not align with His Word? The Lord often uses our circumstances to refine us, as *"iron sharpens iron"* (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). If there is unconfessed sin or disobedience, we urge you to repent and turn fully to Him, for *"if we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9 WEB).

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who seeks Your guidance. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leads us beside still waters and restores our souls (Psalm 23:1-3). We ask that You would indeed direct their steps, illuminate their path, and grant them wisdom in every decision. Father, reveal any areas of their life that are not surrendered to You, and give them the courage to walk in obedience.
We pray for their work, Lord—may it be a vessel for Your glory. Whether they labor in the marketplace, at home, or in ministry, let their hands be instruments of righteousness (Romans 6:13). Teach them to rely not on their own strength, but on Your Spirit, who gives power to the weary and increases the strength of the weak (Isaiah 40:29).
