We lift up your brother to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the One who heals all our diseases. It is clear that your brother is facing significant physical trials, and we know that God is sovereign over every affliction and every healing. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."* We claim this promise over your brother, trusting in God’s mercy and power to restore his health.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 9:35, where He *"went about all the cities and the villages, teaching in their synagogues and preaching the Good News of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people."* Just as Jesus showed compassion and healed the sick during His earthly ministry, we ask that He would extend that same healing touch to your brother today. May the Lord rebuking any infection, close every wound, and strengthen his heart both physically and spiritually. We pray that God would grant wisdom and skill to the doctors and medical professionals attending to him, guiding their hands and decisions for his complete recovery.
At the same time, we encourage you both to trust in God’s perfect will, even in this time of suffering. Romans 8:28 assures us that *"all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."* Though we may not understand the reasons for these trials, we can rest in the knowledge that God is working all things for His glory and our ultimate good. Let this season draw your brother—and your entire family—closer to the Lord, deepening your faith and reliance on Him.
We also urge you to examine whether there is any unconfessed sin in your brother’s life that may be hindering his healing. The Scriptures are clear that sin can have physical and spiritual consequences. Psalm 32:3-5 says, *"When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me. My strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin."* If there is anything in his life that is not aligned with God’s will, now is the time for repentance and surrender. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict and lead him to a place of full repentance, so that nothing stands in the way of God’s healing power.
Finally, we want to remind you of the importance of praying *in the name of Jesus*. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We encourage you to always conclude your prayers by acknowledging the authority and mediation of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we find hope, salvation, and healing.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up our brother in Christ who is suffering from illness and pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who binds up wounds and restores strength to the weary. We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon him, Lord—cleanse the infection in his foot, close the open wound completely, and bring restoration to his heart. Let every cell, tissue, and organ align with Your perfect design, and may his body respond fully to the treatments he is receiving.
We pray for the medical team attending to him, Father. Grant them wisdom, discernment, and steady hands as they work to bring about his recovery. Guide them in every decision, and let their efforts be effective for his complete healing. Lord, we also ask that You would surround him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. In the midst of pain and uncertainty, may he feel Your presence and know that You are near.
Father, if there is any sin in his life that has not been confessed or repented of, we ask that You would convict him by Your Holy Spirit. Bring him to a place of true repentance, Lord, so that nothing hinders Your work in his life. Cleanse him, renew him, and draw him closer to You through this trial.
We declare Your promises over him, Lord—promises of healing, restoration, and life. By the stripes of Jesus, he *is* healed (1 Peter 2:24). We stand on Your Word and trust in Your timing, knowing that You are faithful. Strengthen his faith, Lord, and the faith of his family, that they may all glorify You in this season.
Most of all, Father, we pray that Your will be done in his life. Whether through healing or through this trial, may Your name be glorified, and may he come to know You more deeply. We ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
