We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of compassion for your brother, lifting him up in prayer to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and our ultimate Healer. It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach God’s throne, for Scripture tells us in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* and in Acts 4:12, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We are so grateful you have brought this need before us, and we pray that you, too, are placing your trust fully in Jesus, who alone holds the power of life and healing.
We are deeply moved by the love you have for your brother, and we join you in interceding for his complete restoration. The Word of God assures us in James 5:14-15, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* While we cannot physically anoint him, we stand in faith, claiming this promise over his life. We ask the Lord to strengthen his heart, lungs, and entire body, knitting together every cell and restoring him to full health. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for the medical team attending to him, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, skill, and discernment. As it is written in Proverbs 2:6, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* May their hands be guided by the Holy Spirit, and may every decision they make align with God’s perfect will for your brother’s healing. We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or despair that may try to take root in this situation, for 2 Timothy 1:7 reminds us, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."*
To you and your family, we pray for an unshakable hope and trust in the Lord’s love. In these moments of waiting, we encourage you to cling to Psalm 46:1-3, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we won’t be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling."* Let this be your anchor—God is with you, and He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We also gently encourage you to ensure that your brother, and all involved, are covered in the blood of Jesus Christ through faith in Him. If there is any uncertainty about his relationship with the Lord, now is the time to seek Jesus with all your heart. Salvation is found in no one else, and it is by grace through faith in Christ that we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9). If your brother does not yet know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, we pray for an opportunity for him to hear the Gospel and respond in faith. There is no greater healing than the healing of the soul, and we long for him to experience the eternal hope found only in Christ.
Finally, we stand in agreement with you, declaring that the Lord’s will be done in your brother’s life. Whether healing comes swiftly or through a longer journey, we trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness. Let us all remember the words of Jesus in Mark 11:24, *"Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them."* We believe, Lord, and we thank You in advance for the miracle You are working.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious brother to You. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who holds all things together by the word of Your power. We ask that You would touch his body from the crown of his head to the soles of his feet, restoring every organ, every cell, and every function to perfect health. Strengthen his heart and lungs, Lord, and breathe Your life into him. Grant him peace that transcends all understanding, and fill him with Your supernatural strength.
We pray for the doctors and nurses caring for him, that You would guide their hands and minds with Your wisdom. Let every treatment, every medication, and every decision be divinely directed for his complete restoration. Lord, we rebuke any sickness, disease, or infirmity in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave his body now. By the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24).
Father, we also lift up this family before You. Comfort them with Your presence and surround them with Your love. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, their fear with Your faith, and their sorrow with Your joy. Let them feel Your arms holding them up in this time of need.
If there is any area in your brother’s life that is not surrendered to You, Lord, we pray that You would draw him to Yourself. Soften his heart to receive Your love and salvation, that he may know You as his Lord and Savior. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and power, not only in his body but in his soul.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. May Your name be glorified through this situation, and may all who witness it come to know You more deeply. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
