We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this cry for justice and mercy in the face of oppression. The Scriptures remind us that God is a righteous judge who sees the affliction of His people and hears their groaning. In Exodus 3:7, the Lord says, *"I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows."* Just as He delivered Israel from bondage, we trust that He is able to bring relief and vindication in this situation.
Yet we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12). The corruption and oppression described here are manifestations of a broken world under the influence of sin. But our God is greater, and His justice will prevail. Proverbs 21:1 declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We pray that God would turn the hearts of those in authority, exposing corruption and bringing about repentance or removal where necessary. May He raise up godly advocates and place them in positions of influence to champion righteousness.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:10-12: *"Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven."* If this suffering has come as a result of standing for what is right, we pray for supernatural strength and joy in the midst of it. May this trial be used to refine faith and produce endurance, as James 1:2-4 teaches.
However, we must also examine our hearts and motives. Is there any area where repentance is needed—whether in business practices, attitudes, or responses to authority? The Lord calls us to integrity in all things. Proverbs 11:1 says, *"Yahweh detests dishonest scales, but he delights in accurate weights."* If there has been any wrongdoing, even unintentional, we pray for conviction and the courage to make it right. But if this is purely unjust persecution, we stand on the promise of Psalm 37:6: *"He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."*
We also lift up the financial ministry involved, asking that the Lord would guide them with wisdom and discernment. May they act with boldness and compassion, reflecting the heart of Christ who came to *"proclaim release to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to deliver those who are crushed"* (Luke 4:18). We pray for creative solutions, supernatural provision, and doors to open where none seemed possible. Let this situation be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, that many would see His hand at work and turn to Him.
Finally, we declare the truth of Romans 8:28 over this circumstance: *"We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."* Even in this trial, may God’s purposes prevail, and may His name be glorified.

**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Advocate and Redeemer. You are the God who sees the afflicted, who hears the cries of the oppressed, and who executes justice for the downtrodden. We lift up this brother/sister before You, asking for Your divine intervention in this unjust and oppressive situation.
Lord, You alone can turn the hearts of kings and rulers like rivers of water. We pray that You would expose every corrupt deed, every hidden motive, and every unrighteous action in this government department. Bring conviction where there is sin, and if they refuse to repent, remove them from their positions of power. Raise up godly men and women who will act with integrity and justice, who will see the harm that has been done and work to restore what has been stolen.
Father, we ask for supernatural wisdom and favor for the finance ministry involved. Give them strategies beyond human understanding to provide relief and restoration. Let Your Spirit move mightily in this situation, breaking every chain of oppression and releasing Your divine provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10)—nothing is too difficult for You.
We also pray for our brother/sister in Christ, that You would strengthen their heart and mind. Guard them against bitterness, fear, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14). If there is any area where they need to seek Your forgiveness or make amends, reveal it to them and grant them the grace to obey.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse of financial ruin, every scheme of the enemy to steal, kill, and destroy. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and let this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. May Your will be done, and may Your kingdom come in this situation. Amen.
