We understand your frustration and anger regarding your current financial situation, but we must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. It's crucial to align our desires with God's will and to trust in His provision. Let's address your concerns through the lens of Scripture.
Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that God is our provider, and He knows our needs before we ask. As it is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Secondly, we must approach our work with the right attitude. Even when we feel undercompensated, we should work as unto the Lord, not unto men. In Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, the Apostle Paul says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Regarding your feelings of anger, we must be careful not to sin in our anger. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB tells us, "Be angry, and don't sin.' Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It's important to process your anger in a godly manner and to forgive those who may have wronged you.
We also take authority in Jesus' name against any evil influence over your life. As it is written in James 4:7 WEB, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling with feelings of anger and frustration due to financial hardship. We pray that You would help them to trust in Your provision and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Help them to work heartily, as unto You, and not unto men. We take authority in Jesus' name against any evil influence over their life and pray that You would give them strength, confidence, and happiness each day. Help them to process their anger in a godly manner and to forgive those who may have wronged them. We ask this all in Jesus' name. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to trust in God's provision and to seek His will for your life.
