We are glad to join you in prayer for a godly spouse and a blessed life. Firstly, we want to remind you that God's forgiveness and blessing come through faith in Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we can have a full relationship with God. It's important to confess all sins to God. It's also important to know the biblical standards for a spouse. First, we must know that God created male and female to marry. Second, we must know that sex outside of marriage, called fornication, or sex with someone of the same sex, called homosexuality, are sins according to the Bible. Let's look at what the Bible says.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
Romans 1:26-27 WEB "For this cause, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your will to be done in this person's life. We pray that You will forgive their sins as they confess them to You, and that You will bless them with a godly spouse. We ask that You guide them in their search for a spouse, and that You will prepare them for marriage. We pray for happiness and blessings to overflow in their life. Help them to be a blessing to their future spouse and to be a shining light to the world as God intends in marriage. We also pray that You will guide them in Your word, and that they will grow closer to You each day.
Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We pray that you will find a spouse who loves and serves God, as Proverbs 18:22 says, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord." We believe that God will bless your future marriage, as He blessed Isaac and Rebekah, as it's written in Genesis 24:1, "Now Abraham was old, well advanced in years; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
