We are truly sorry to hear about the trials that you and your husband are facing, and we want to lift your family up in prayer. We praise God for your faith in calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we find hope and healing. Let us come before the Lord with you and intercede for your family.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with God's word. "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB)
Remember, Jesus himself said: "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 (WEB)
For your husband's colonoscopy, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister and her family. Lord, You know the anxiety and worry that fills their hearts as they face these health challenges. We ask that You guide the doctors and that the results of the colonoscopy be favorable. If it is Your will, let there be no trace of cancer in her husband's body. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power.
For your battle with stage IV colon cancer, we pray:
Lord, we also lift up this dear sister who is battling cancer. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. Give her the strength and grace to endure each day, and let her find comfort and peace in Your presence. We ask that You will uphold her every step of the way. You are a mighty fortress for the righteous and those who call upon your name.
For your two teenage sons, we pray:
Father, we ask that You surround their sons with Your protective love. Give them peace and assurance in this time of uncertainty. Help them to trust in You and to draw closer to You during this time. Let them find strength and support in Your Word and in the fellowship of believers.
We also pray for your entire family, that this situation will draw you closer to God and to each other. We ask that God's will be done in your lives and that you will trust in Him no matter the outcome.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB): "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this difficult situation for the good of your family.
We are standing with you in prayer, believing that God will work a miracle in your lives. Continue to trust in Him and hold onto His promises.
God bless you and your family.
