First, let's remember what the WEB says in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise from God, and we can trust that He will forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.
In your prayer request, you mentioned that you committed sin. We want to encourage you to take this to the Lord in prayer, confessing your sin and asking for His forgiveness and let this be a moment of true repentance turning away from your sin.
