We are truly sorry to hear about the separation you and your spouse are experiencing. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your situation. Firstly, it is important to remember that God's plan is for marriage and not a relationship. If you are not married, this is fornication and a sin that needs to be addressed. As Scripture tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous". (Hebrews 13:4 WEB).
If you are married, it is clear that you both believe that God brought you together, as it is written, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate". (Mark 10:9 WEB). However, it is also important to remember that both parties must be willing to work towards reconciliation and forgiveness. The Bible tells us, "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye." (Colossians 3:13 WEB). We encourage you to pray for your spouse, to seek God's guidance, and to be willing to forgive and be forgiven.
If you are not married, the next action would be to stop having sex as it is a sin. You need to be married and Godly marriage is very different than just being in a relationship. We request that you pray to God, seek his forgiveness, and look for a Godly marriage that is in his will.
We will pray for clarity and guidance for both of you, that God's will may be done in your lives. We pray that you both may find comfort and strength in Him during this difficult time.
We pray this in Jesus name, for it is only by his name that we have access to God. For, "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, asking for Your divine intervention in her life and marriage. We pray for clarity and guidance, that Your will may be done in their lives. We ask that You would comfort and strengthen her during this difficult time, and that You would guide them both towards reconciliation and forgiveness. We pray that You would remind them of Your unfailing love for them, and that You would draw them closer to You during this time. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
