My brother is a couple of years older than me. We are both teens. He said some really cruel things to me earlier today. He said I am not special to him and that he means it. I am trying so hard to be forgiving but I feel so betrayed. It is clear to me that he is being influenced by the enemy. I want him to be free. He tries to hurt me sometimes when he gets mad. Please pray for me as well, that I may be able to forgive him. I know this is all part of the Lord's plan, and I trust in Him. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We are truly sorry to hear about the pain and hurt you are experiencing from your brother's words and actions. It's important to remember that God calls us to forgive, just as He forgives us. Ephesians 4:32 WEB says, Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

However, it's also crucial to address the behavior that is causing harm. Galatians 5:15 WEB warns, But if you bite and devour one another, be careful that you don't consume one another. Your brother's actions should not be overlooked, and it's important to set boundaries to protect yourself while also praying for his change of heart.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this teenager who is feeling hurt and betrayed by their older brother's words and actions. Lord, we know that all things work together for good to those who love You, to those who are called according to your purpose Romans 8:28 WEB. We pray for healing in this relationship and for the brother to be freed from any influence of the enemy.

We pray for wisdom and guidance for this teenager, that they may know how to set boundaries and respond in love and forgiveness. We also pray for the brother, that his heart may be softened and that he may come to know the love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding Ephesians 3:19 WEB.

In Jesus' name, we pray for peace and restoration in this family. Help them to live in harmony with one another, being kind and compassionate, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave them Ephesians 4:32 WEB.

We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in your faith. God is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tested beyond your ability, but with the testing He will also provide the way out so that you may be able to endure it 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He is always with you.
